Swedish Rock band from the 90s and early 2000s. They broke up for a while (can only tour the US playing shitty clubs and going home broke so often) and now they've reformed to play a few big festivals every year. Check out the other bands affiliated with the members of this band: Imperial State Electric, Lucifer, and Backyard Babies.

I was already a huge fan when I finally saw the HELLACOPTERS in San Francisco some 20 years ago. The best Rock n Roll band in the world. I visited many record stores in Tokyo to assemble a full collection of their CD singles, EPs, and albums. Also, WOLVERINE BLUES is a Desert Island Disc.

As much as they are one of my favourite bands, I mean they really are up there in my personal choices, and the older stuff comes back to life again with Dregen back on guitar... I have to say that it kinda sucks not seing Strings up there... Maybe he would've been in a different place had he been alive, and maybe moved on from the Hellacopters into whatever he would've been doing today... but it would be the bomb to see him play again...!

Love Sami Yaffa , his time with New York Dolls was incredible. Saw them 6 times The Best !! Because of Sami & Steve Conte I went to a small Toronto Club Michael Monroe , not a fan but They were fantastic , Steve Conte & Dregen together playing some Stooges and The Damned ? Can’t go wrong Obviously

Miles i haven't negativley criticized Dregen. I love the two first Hellacopters albums -- but since Strängen passed away this year and so much attention have been put on The Copters this summer; i can't stop thinking about him. I have met him a couple of times and that makes his abscene evident. He was a big part of the Swedish rock scene.

Carl Isaksson I wasn't being a dick first off. Second off just be happy the band still lives. I saw them in 97 in San Francisco and a few times more after that. This was the 5th show for me in Oslo. Don't worry, you aren't the only one who loves the Hellacopters. Just saying this show was fucking epic. Don't get your panties twisted.
