Ksegger at 1:30 it didn't look effortless, at that point and at that speed I suspect most people would have gone for the easy option and had a huge crash. On the second lap he was particularly careful round the same corner 3:49.

Ksegger Lap record? It's almost 1 minute slower than the lap record? Even bikes have gone round like 15 seconds faster? Though it seemed like the driver was being way careful and not following the best raceline either. Surely it could be done a lot faster. Though if it could reach a record I'm not sure of. It will be interesting to see how it handles Nurburgring. They said they would go for a record in a setup that will be streetlegal. Hope they do.

Lap time : 2 min 18 sec on the second lap. Worn tires, and they didn't even use E85. It looked like 7/10ths, not remotely driven in anger.

The car looks very nervous! And I'm surprised at how violent gear changes are. Changing gear on the exit of a corner = tank slapper? Perhaps the tires just need much more heat into them, and the driver may have still been familiarizing himself or being nice to the passenger? Looking forward to see MUCH more, especially on lateral acceration through fast corners, apex speeds, and straight away top speeds.

Cloxxki standard tires, regular fuel (not E85), passenger, first time ever for driver on Suzuka, old brakes etc. Sure, it's all excuses but added together I think you will realise that the car can be much faster around that curcuit.

Num Num Actually it's not a single clutch, but it's not a traditional dual clutch either, it's 1 wet clutch and 1 dry clutch, or something like that, almost as good as a dual clutch, but much lighter and simpler.

Cloxxki Several factors come into play to make it seem "nervous" but if you watch other videos of it on the track it can stay planted when prepped correctly. That being said, at low speeds it can still break traction due to the fact that the car has over 1,100 HP that is only being directed to wheels.

A complaint about the editing: why do you cut to show the windscreen when during some of the more fearsome parts of acceleration? It's really annoying! Otherwise, fantastic video...I love that drilling noise of this and the Agera. Also, it just looks so stable and driveable, though I'm sure I'd crash and die immediately.

WOW as a passenger no panic handle at all, or any place where you can hang on at all, at least the driver has the steering wheel to hold on and control his upper body, also notice how the passengers body and head moves around compared to the drivers body and head. lol :) still the jesko will be next and cant wait till the official Guinness world record is broken for a factory produced road car which will hit 300 miles per hour +. :)

at 1:32 the driver just touched the throttle and the car went out of shape. The steering wheel was about to break his arms. This car is a nissan micra around corners, it only becomes brave when it sees a long straight line. This car is claimed to be capable of lapping nurburgring at a ridiculously low laptime! I don't think so, or maybe they are counting on nurburgrings long straight line in hope of compensating some of the time going slowly around corners.

It holds the record for production cars at the Spa circuit in Belgium. Koenigsegg says the car can withstand 2 g's in corners

lol it holds the record because no other car ever bothered setting a serious laptime. The fact that Ferrari F430 has a faster laptime than Laferrari says a lot. Koenigsegg specifically selected Spa & Suzuka, mainly because their cars in unable to lap any other circuit faster than a Golf GTI.

i still think porsches or ferraris (dont know anything about ferraris realiabilety) double clutch gearboxes are better than that wierd single clutch with brake thing koeniggsegg builds... the upshift seem to take ages compared to the competition (and yes i know this car has a lot more torqe but it has bespoke evrything they would have to scale up a pdk for excampe) i think the added weight (i guess?) would be worth it... just listen to the porsche 911gt3 rs shift!!!!

I only compared the gearbox :D I am fully aware of the fact that this thing is in pretty much every situation faster, much faster! But lets face it you are buying a 2MILLION € car and don't even get the best of everything? seems a bit strange to me... I know the 911 GT3 RS gearbox would just explode but they lets take another (much older) example wich in my opinion plays in a similar league: the bugatti veyron. that this has 1200hp which is close to the 1300+ this produces but it has a very smooth double clutch gearbox! Not this thing that seems to take as long as a expirienced driver with a manual (im exxagerating here ;) ) and yes i know the veyron is a heavy beast 300kg more than this but take the 4wd and all the leather out of that and i seriously think you can shave 200+kg off ... and lets not forget: 16cylinders 8lieters and 4turbos do weigh a serius amount more than a 5liter bi-turbo v8 that produces its power through a good amount of boost. my point is: it is possible to develop a good fast transmission for a car like this one and if i would have 2mil to blow on a car i would exspect perfecion. woah this text escalated in length ;D
