There was rumour around that time about SRK being gay or bi. And even worse part of rumour that he has affair with Karan Johar. The reason you think why he looked so sensitive because this episode was around 2004 and that time homophobia was on peak. SRK & Aamir rivalry started from the days of SRK's debut. Aamir was the first from the younger lot of that time. He made a grand debut, was winning awards. Salman, Akshay & Ajay had also arrived... Aamir was still going good. But then out of nowhere came SRK, like a thunderbolt. Signed 4-5 films in one day, this is literally how he made his debut. Not just that, the "better known" actors SRK talks about, who had discarded movies which eventually he did as anti-hero, were these guys, especially Aamir & Sallu. Aamir was supposed to be the poster boy of YRF. Aamir was supposed to be the king, but that never happened. They all thought negative roles were bad, SRK made them badass & cool. SRK single handedly became more powerful & popular than the rest of male leads combined. DDLJ(1995) won SRK the award for best actor. Aamir was of the view that he should've won the best actor filmfare for his movie Rangeela. That's pretty much the turning point, when aamir basically stopped giving importance to awards. Most people don't mention this, but aamir is super insecure about himself. You can observe this in his behaviour & stuff. There're legit interviews where some silly reporter tells aamir random nonsense, which aamir immediately believes & gives really weird response, borderline insult to SRK. Aamir also takes himself too seriously, doesn't do stuff which might make him look funny in any way. Unlike SRK, who is a sportsman & is always ready to face everything head on. Some view that behaviour of SRK as being silly & those same people view that behaviour of aamir as bEinG iNteLLectuAL. Aamir is insecure in that sense even individually too, that's why he hardly does public interactions. PTC is a punjabi channel, where film stars giv me interviews whenever they go to Punjab. And often the reporter asks actors to try to speak one or two lines in punjabi. Some actors who know punjabi(like srk) do it with ease, while others who don't know punjabi also do it for sportsmanship. Aamir is probably the only guy who is insecure about doing that too. I remember the usual comedic PTC reporter asked aamir to say one line in punjabi, and he even said that aamir could just repeat the words he said. But aamir made it extremely awkward, with his stubborn "NO... NO... NO, NEXT QUESTION." Many such examples exist of Aamir. Now it's all good between SRK & Aamir though, they're friends.

India did have simultaneous premiere of GoT along with East Coast US on Hotstar. HBO Max is about to launch in India, but till then Hotstar has exclusive rights to entire HBO library, including ongoing shows. Also, Hotstar is about 20 USD per year, and includes IPL, HBO, Disney+ (MCU, Pixar, Star Wars, etc.), and a lot of other sports & original content. I'd say it's a steal, even for a price sensitive market like India. Also, no offense, but how is Indrani so oblivious to most things India? SRK was kind of over confident and self centred in 2000's. He had rift with so many actors. But after 2010, he has became a wise one, more genuine, more kind, and etc. The pride is all gone now.

i think he was unstoppable back then., but he failed to reform himself as times changed and produced too many flops that humbled him.

He had rifts with many actors because everyone hated him back then. I'm not on the nepotism bandwagon at all; but if you read the history, magazines, and newspapers of that time, stars tried everything to knock off an outsider taking their place. In the end, they accepted that no one can outdo him.

@@denver5093 I don't think he is still arogant. He has evolved so much in his 40's and that's great. I really think that he is a great person and grounded like never before...
