Kofi the main problem is, in Ghana the people or the citizens control the system but when you travel outside Ghana you realize that the system control the people so you will be serious to avoid problems

I had a similar experience at Fridays in Sakumanno.. Nasty management. Food was extremely salty smelly and a bit cold. More like a leftover , We requested to be changed. He flipped 360 and said if we don't want to eat it, we can go. And trust us, we walked off . He went ballistic and made multiple offensive statements. But that was and would be our last time being there.. a party of 7 is not that cheap!

My first taxi driver reported me to the CID that l had broken the contract by taking my car from him. Bear in mind the driver stopped paying me and didn’t look after the car as per the contract. CID said l was at fault and took money from me for the driver on top of what he owed me.That driver is dead now, second driver refused to pay me so l took the car off him and sold the car at a loss but the 3rd driver was good, l didn’t make any profit out of the two cars!Tried selling men’s outfits and it’s over 10 years now and people still owe me so l have given up. Even my own family didn’t help!. It’s sad so l have given up doing any business in Ghana.I wish l had spent the money on chopping life!

This is so true what is saying. I experienced that very attitude at most African restaurants I tried to patronize here in Los Angeles. The one the Ghanaian restaurant told me I don't like the food not the come back. It's been 2yrs and has never been there again. They high prices for tasteless food. You ask for goat meat will give you regular meat asgoat meat charge you high price. This practice is with this Nigerian restaurant

After a friend told me to put money at the Bank in Ghana, i should give the money to him to do electrical business in 2018 and in 2022 he told me that he is sick and has used all the money to treat himself .

We must take into consideration the infrastructure, transport and road systems in Ghana as well, in Europe transport systems are top notch( and even so, occasionally there are problems) how much more Ghana. So the comparisons are sometimes unfair and not well thought out; I’m talking about the time and lateness aspect, apart from that, I agree with every other thing said.

You have a point but in all, you have to factor the Ghana transportation systems so if you’re setting an appointment or traveling, you calculate when you can start and the time you’ll reach. We can’t use our system as an excuse even tho the reality is tough.

They are very childrenlike, not thinking any wisdom for any thing. 2pm is for them 4pm. They don't take anything seriousness in everything, so they are loosing money. Unserious, and disrespectfulness, as if they ate the ones to make Heavens for the employers. Bluffing, stealing hard time, so lazy and unqualified for any work they are called for. They don't know anything in the work they are doing and they don't want to be thought, you are stressing him or her. Very hard situation. It's all about systems and not people. Ghanaians abroad are different, why? Systems are in place. Look at our transport system, road network, financial system, educational system, drainage system etc. As long as we don't build systems, things won't work.

We should understand the condition of our system. Yes, it is not good. Most workers do not control their transportation. If the trotro is not full, the driver is not moving. If the car breaks down, we do get transferred to another bus. We cannot determine how long it will take to get to a place.

Conditions in Europe and America are not the same conditions in Ghana. Your employee in Ghana will decide not to come work due to rain. He is bothered by rent or credit card or insurance or car note.
