Runner's Weekend - Manitou Incline

At the last minute, I had a chance to interview a couple of pro marathoners before they headed over to Budapest for the World Championships Marathon. So it’s time to hop on a plane for a very short trip to Colorado, where I’ll do some interviews, eat some food, and the go for a little hike.

How fun! The incline is no joke. We just did Pikes peak via Barr trail on Friday. Long day, but felt better than doing the incline once 😅

Great video. This brought back memories of when I lived in the Springs. Next time you should “run” up Barr Trail up to the top of Pikes Peak….there’s a race there called the Pikes Peak Ascent. As a veteran of the race myself (I’ve run it 13 times), it never gets old. That would be an epic runners weekend video!

12:55. As you know, Elkanah is in the military. The military teaches recruits to eat fast. I wonder if that affected Elkanah's pace of eating. It's also my observation that kids from big families, or where food is scarce, tend to eat faster.
