Also, fun fact: someone on the Duel Links subreddit discovered that when you maximum summon, if the middle piece is prismatic or glossy, the side cards will also appear that way! This is great because the L and R Yggdrago and Magnum cards are 'R' rarity, so they can't be prismatic.

Today i reached playing the classic sevens Road acelerated, the last duel was against a Magnum overroad deck and damn, his maximum left me on 300 with one single blow, i felt like Joey after the Ra blaze cannon xd

Dn this mechanic is really powerful. On one hand Dragias got powercreeped, but now the old cards usually dont stand a chance against those maximum things. I hope we'll get accessablr outs to those monster

not perfect though you can see this one cant do a thing if you just set 3 monsters unless they happen to draw pierce and we have that spell that lowers its attack by 2000. you can also see how sevens road can beat over it. yggdrago seems to be way more powerfull when its out but when its not the deck sucks

@@edgardo400zx thats why I said "the old cards" bc I know that spell card outs it, but we also had outs against Tachyon & Shira in in the KC Cup. Also "draw the out" isnt that much of an argument bc that accures to every deck. Stalling against that Maximum Summoned Dragon can surely buy some time, but thx to its effects u will lose after 2 - 3 turns. Tbh the consistency can be an issue, but we know how Konami can release stupidly OP skills to fix that

Maximums are just a lot better in duel links due to skills, lower lifepoints, and smaller decks. In regular rush the first few Maximums released didnt see much competitive play cause they were bricks rather than good cards in dealing with Dragias and Sevens Road due to the nature of 40 card decks. Future Maximums end up having much more versatility similar to Harpie Lady Sisters so it's just gonna keep getting more crazy

@@ShienZark problem is: we also have skills which makes those "bricks & garnets" useful. Take Yuga's Maximum skill for example: it doesnt just reduce ur opponents ATK of 1 monster by 800, u can set WHATEVER u have in ur hand. Like DAFUQ how dumb is that?
