there is no point, most of the gym leaders share pokemon type with gen 1, so it would be the same video over and over again (like, f.e almost every generation has grass/water/electric/rock gym leader)

I don’t know the outcome of the video but I do have a suggestion. I think it’d be great to have a rule in these specific matches where the type advantage is overwhelming where you can’t use the same move twice in a row . That would open up a lot of possibilities in my opinion.

Vs idea choose random starter pokemon based on their type. After 6 rounds you roll a 6 sided dice twice. Whatever the dice lands on is your choice; your choices include; 1. Swap your least favorite starter choice with quickgg 2. Catch a random encounter and you have to take it…. You can fully evolve it 3. Choose another random starter 4. Catch an overworld pokemon with the same type as that pokemon 5. Swap it with your mascot pokemon 6. Versus Idea: First 10 baby Pokémon you see. You have 4 skips. Once you have your team of 6 babies you do a wheel of evolution. Whatever stage it lands on you apply to that baby, then you fight. *Not sure if this has been done before. I’m new on the channel.

Challenge Idea: BINGO! Each player makes their own BINGO card, where each of the columns is a different category. The player can choose whatever they want for the cells in each column as long as they fit the category without duplicate entries, and they can arrange the category columns in whichever order they choose. Categories: 1. Dual Type (ex. Poison/Fighting) 2. Single Type (ex. Grass) 3. Egg Group (ex. Dragon) 4. Generation (ex. Gen 3) 5. Highest Base Stat (ex. Speed) Look through the overworld to fill out your BINGO card. After you get 5 in a row, BINGO! That's 5 members of your team. The final teammate can be any pokemon that has already been caught on the card that isn't in the BINGO. *If a player has less than 10 slots filled on the card before making a BINGO, then they are allowed to fill more slots to bring the total to 10, so there's options for the last member. Only the first BINGO counts. ** "no eggs discovered" and "gender unknown" cannot be used as egg groups *** if a match is seen, then it must be caught **** max of 1 legendary per card ***** can catch babies, but fully evolve for the battle.

Video idea: You both go and catch 6 pokemon. Then all 12 get put into a pool, and you take turns picking which ones you want on your team. I would be really curious what stratagies you use and pokemon end up getting caught for something like this since you aren't guaranteed to keep what you catch.

I'm enjoying this new vs battles you guys have going. I would love to see where you choose your types before the battle. Single type and then the first you find of each type that is fully evolved you take. (Including Legends for this) Each type you can do a single skip. So how this works is you each pick your team. So say I choose; Dragon, Fairy, Normal, Poison, Fire, and Steel. Then I go in order so the first fully evolved Dragon type. You can not choose the same single type for your team of six however. Each one has to be different but that doesn't mean your final team can't have multiple at the end.

Id say you should introduce a clause in these uneven matchups to either exclude mons that are 4-times weak to the other type or mons that 4-times resist them, or both really (if one wants to, of course), I know that the randomized moveset does negate these effects somewhat, but that would give some interesting battles at least

Each of them (aside from Fini) drops the proper terrain for their typings naturally (Bulu - Grass, Koko - Electric, Lele - Psychic...Fini is stuck with Misty)...that's how I always figured their non-Fairy types.
