Hello everyone. I apologise for not uploading lately, my laptop was in for repair so could not upload any movies. Some of you commented on me being angry & upset, you would be too if you nearly got killed about 10 times in 5 hours. Back home safe in the UK now saving up like mad to get back. in the meantime I am going to try and do some thai cooking. That's the best I can do at the mo.

I feel you Geoff. Funny I watched this right before taking a van from Krabi to Phuket. Was pouring rain and the idiot driver was passing cars left and right all well texting. I agree with you, I get frustrated as hell sometimes with the way things are done over there but luckily the pros out-way the cons :) had a few crazy taxi drivers myself in the past too which doesn't exactly make for a relaxing journey what with the road death toll we constantly hear about there. I remember my experience on a taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya a few years ago. There was a traffic jam on the highway and then the taxi driver merged onto the left breakdown lane, then started speeding on the breakdown lane until he had slam his foot on the breaks when their was a car that break down, then after he went past the traffic jam, he was driving up to 160 km (100 miles) afterwards doing the same like that van driver like you were talking about.

I have to leave a comment here...Most of the minivan drivers are Luni-Retardos, some ok i guess, but most just want to speed and make next tour with the next bunch of tourists.. The only time i ever raised my voice to an Khun Thai, was to an minivan driver. Speeding and aquaplaning with 120 140kph in and out just like you say G..i was standing up and yelling at the driver after 2hours of fear for me and fellows life, (thais and farlang), both think he was ready to die.. Cha Cha im not ready for die, im on holliday khun baa..then he slowed down some..its fucking crazy sometimes..allways nice videos from you Geoff Chang Carter lol thumbs up

Those minibus drivers all run that same scam. They pull in and tell everyone they need to get out while they fuel up. Its because they get a kickback from the little minimart there as all the people who were forced to get off the bus meander over and buy a drink or two.
