Loving the vids! We actually spoke a while back before I left for my 100 day solo backpacking trip in Asia. You gotta head to Koh Rong Samloem and Ko h Ta Kiev. Stay at Mad Monkey in Koh Rong Samloem and Ten103 on Koh Ta Kiev! Such sick places. At Koh Rong Samloem you can run through the water at 2am and watch the plankton light up the water. Dude if you got drone footy of that, that would be so rad!

you color grade too heavy for your format, use a camera like a gh4 that can shoot in a flat format such as Vlog.

Sonys have S-log too which u dont have to buy like panasonics for 100 bucks. Its just way to much for travel videos and since the dynamic range on the a7s is so good the work to edit slog footage is kinda useless anyway exept if u really need those extra stops which again u dont for daily YT videos.

Well that end of the video was a major disappointment :/ - what is wrong with you? That gecko type lizard is so adorable and you start throwing things at him? He literally didn't do anything to you guys, was just minding his own business. That was so rude of you. They don't do anything if you don't piss them off (which you did) and they don't just randomly bite you (even though you deserve to be bitten) (and yes, I've met those little fellas before, had them in my room several times and surprise,surprise-I survived) Other than that little hiccup -the video itself was great. as always.

Great drone shots! Do you have it licensed in any way though? Are there any laws regulating the use of drones? I would be super worried getting into major trouble for flying it over a city, like in one of your previous videos ..because in my country they can jail you for that.. so sad since these kind of shots are PRICELESS!!

I started watching your videos a while back when you first started and you went to Thailand for the first time. Your videos aren't the same anymore and they sort of lost their authenticity. Maybe it's because it's more commercialized now and instead of being alone in most of your journeys, now there's more of team of travelers. I'll be honest, I don't really enjoy the "other" travelers because I really started watching this channel because of the "lost leblanc" guy and his adventures in the world. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I had liked this channel because of the struggle of the lone traveler finding his way but now it seems like he has like a whole film crew and guides showing him what to do and where to go and thus taking away the simple reality show feel of how it used to be. I guess once you "make it" in the world, you basically sell out to commercialization. Why you quit your normal 9to5 job to seek freedom is all for nothing now if you have just replaced it by another institution, albeit disguised. I think if you went back to your roots, enlightenment would not be too far away.

That was a Tokay Gecko in your room. Yes, if they bite you, they don't let go easily, so I've read. I live in Thailand and there is almost always a smaller gecko in my apt.

Thomas Pyttel it's a professional camera for sure. It's SO hard to leave the portability of the Mavic though 😫 I just ditched my Phantom 4 for the Mavic pro and I have to say I do miss the image quality a little bit. We had a clarity issue filming in Puerto Rico but the portability is just so amazing it's worth it. I am really enjoying these new drone shots lately tho! 👍 If you can stand carrying it around all day, more power to you!
