I saw sharks while snorkeling off Koh Tao. There's a bay called Shark something. Give it a try. Stay safe. I worry about drowning more than sharks!

First time watcher but not the last, awesome channel. This video brings back memories. I was in Koh Tao about 10 years ago, I didn't go scuba diving but did snorkelling, it was so beautiful. Keep up the good work. 🙂

Love your channel name! That is so clever. It's really something to see the underwater world, isn't it? You look at the surface of the water and it's tough to imagine everything that's under it!

@@OnePackWanderers yea, it was like Finding Nemo x ten. I loved it, even though I almost drowned.....but that's another story. It was actually my mate that came up with the channel name.....I'll never forgive him for stealing the glory on that one. I'm in Ecuador right now making videos, you ever been here?

@@OnePackWanderers Yea, its very easy to enter right now, easier than 4 months ago when I came. Everything is open, but masks to be worn in public. Its an awesome country, and not nearly as dangerous as certain articles on the internet imply. 🙂

You guys have to get certified. I'm 55 and it was on my bucket list and finally became certified 18months ago. It is so addictive. I haven't seen any videos but have you dived again? Maybe if you head to Indonesia spend 3 days getting your certification there as they have the best dive spots.
@OnePackWanderers2 жыл бұрын
Congratulations on getting certified! Where'd you do it? We'd really like to get certified. We could tell immediately that it would be addictive if we had more time/money to do it more.

Great to see that you guys had fun and had some good dives, unfortunately your instructor did breach some very strict and important rules about not taking a video and/or photo camera underwater, and either taking photos or video. This is for your safety alone! When that is said, I hope that you will continue with your underwater experiences and take the Open Water course, which will btw also enable you to take your camera with you and film the awesome underwater life.

The iPhones, starting with the iPhone 11, are water resistant up to 6 meters. So we didn’t do anything special, just rinsed them after to get the salt off 🙂

Just to give you guys a heads up that the diving in Thailand is about a three out of 10. As you noticed most of the coral is dead and uninhabitable by sea life. The variety you saw was very minimal. You will find many better dive spots across the world including Honduras and Aruba as well as many other Caribbean places were the reefs are much better
@OnePackWanderers2 жыл бұрын
We did wonder about that. Will definitely need to dive in the Caribbean.
