this is a masterpiece of story telling, no dialoge needed just actions and expressions. a simple message perhaps but delivered so well and so beautifully, good lord this is just beautiful

I agree. Anime like this touches what is universally human. Those without dialogue tend to be better.

You are absolutely correct! Masterpiece of storytelling, this is!
I’m glad they made up. I can pull out more than 2 memories from my head about fight with friends that never got resolved, never talked about it again and never mad up. I regret those times in my youth and my inclination to not communicate that I brought in my adulthood. I hope that kids can learn well on saying sorry and admitting their mistakes and also not taking grudge when they’re not forgiven immediately. Some wounds take time to heal more than physical most of the time.
I'm sorry but her brother was so funny xD. "well, if she doesn't want it, I'll have it" then the mom slaps him in the back of the head. I swear I replayed that 7 times.

really love these kind of no dialogue animations. also, when the brother got smacked on the head for the water melon LOL
Goddamn...KZbin finally recommended me a good one. -The storytelling is awesome -The scene is well crafted -The old style adds to the atmosphere of it. If only there were audio affects added, it will probably make it better in my opinion. But make the characters voiceless. The cloud versions of themselves chasing each other is a great metaphor to convey their feelings, I love it.

Округлые лица придают мягкость и музыка. Тут всё понятно без слов
8 years later and still is a amazing animation. Shows that even without dialogue it can be impactful enough.

The superiority of anime and Japan is shown gloriously in this video. Anime changed my life. Before it, I was an empty shell, a useless organism inhabiting a rock in a suburban star system. My life was grey and valueless until I turned 4 years old and discovered anime (in the late 90's). Anime was so emotional and beautiful, it gave me a reason to continue living in a broken and imperfect world; it taught me to feel.

Excellent animation. The story was excellent and was easy to understand even though there wasn't any dialogue. The music was fantastic and helped flesh out the story that was being told.

I hold silent films in high regard when they're done right, and this one is simply wonderful. Fluid animation, a fantastic use of body language and facial expressions to convey meaning, and characters that are still memorable despite their relatively "average" appearances - in fact, this normalcy is part of why they're so memorable. This went straight into my favorites as soon as I was finished watching it.
