Kohler kt17 Rebuild Part 4: Jugs! Cleaning up and inspecting the cylinders

I have a kt17 it has a rod out on one side, if I replace the rod , will that be ok, or do I do anything else?? Do I replace rings on 1 side or do both sides???

Without seeing the engine, it's impossible to say. You really will need to tear it down, measure everything and decide what needs done at that point.
