Last week the first video of the abandoned pond came across my feed. Since then I have watched almost all of the videos on this channel, and have a new appreciation for Koi. I used to hate Koi because I found it near impossible to keep my tank clean with them in. I used to also think that they were just larger goldfish and had a mix of the two at the time. I now realise I was doing it all wrong, and Koi are amazing! Thank you so much for renewing an old love during lockdown, it has been lovely diving back into it all

I have it on full all the time there is a lot of fish in there if the air is off even for an hour the ammonia levels go crazy as the filter uses the oxygen to process the ammonia it depletes the oxygen very quick if the air off.

More Fry I got some fish from Cuttlebrook I also found a bug in the pond and sent a picture to Lisa at cuttlebrook who was very helpful in informing me what it was I only had a small plastic tank for my fry and a small air stone and used a 6mm pipe for trical in and a hole in the top side with a lenght of hose pipe covered in thick filter floss which drained the water onto the plants. I have never seen you use filter wool or floss is there a reson for that kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKHZpmV_fcprppY

I hope you have learnt a-lot more since this video. Posting things like this teaches others to do it all wrong. A5 degree water change is way too much for a grown fish let alone fry. You should be putting them in a bowl and slowly increasing temp over several hrs. Also you should never move fish of any size from plain water straight into water with treatment in it. The salt should be added in stages over several days. The stress you caused these fry really didnt do them any favours. 😢😢 Also the salt should be dissolved before adding to the pond not just dumped in
