Mega dude, love the casual way you throw things together stating i am no chippy! Then boom a superb finished article. Love the modelling as you say the older generation (60) defaulted to models. I do touring cars 🚗 and also OO gauge Great Western railways 🛤. Love the new channel ideas cannot wait 😀 👍

Nice work lee , if your not happy just resting the front posts on the coach bolts you could of injected some resin glue befor sliding the posts over also helps protect the bolts from rusting think your right about the age thing and modelling as a kid my bed room ceiling had a full scale Battle of Britain scene going on 👍👍😀😀

Looks good mate I just wish you hadn’t removed so much stock from your notches structurally you are only meant to remove one third of the material but you have removed half . So basically your 150 mm span timber at the front is now the. Same strength of a 75 mm span joist . Over time you are going to see this joist sag . It will take time but it will happen .

Looks good mate but you have removed way to much stock from your joists your have removed half and the max should be one third . So now your 2x6 are basically 2x3 strength wise . You will see the front sag over time pal . You could negate this by putting in longer cross braces , dividing the span by in to three and taking the cross braces to those points.
