Can I STOP the STRONGEST VIKING INVASION in all of Crusader Kings 3? A-Z

In the 867 start date, Vikings dominate northern Europe! The sons of Lothbrok has launched their invasion of the British Isles, and there's only one man that can stop them: Alfred the Great!
Earl Alfred start merely a young man, but his dynasty would become the true leaders of England for years to come! In this challenge run, Koifish will attempt to stop the Viking invasion of England, as well as forming the kingdom of England through the power of intrigue, diplomacy and martial!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my CK3 Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current CK3 DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court and Fate of Iberia!

Alfred must be scripted to fail every murder. I wasn’t able to with this character either. Holy s*** I’ve never seen the surprise party event…must be new. That would be terrifying. Never seen a more stressed character in my life.

My best Alfred start is always to go conquer all of my brothers other vassals. He starts the game with all of the counties in Wessex except for Alfred’s. But he gives all the ones he can’t hold away almost immediately. So I just vassal eat all of these brand new counties before they can even Levy their troops. Easy way to grab Lunden off the start.

You could take more than 3 traits also some traits you could get through special events, so for example my special character 400 buy points character for Ironman and Achievements had tons of traits because of an "exploit" of negative traits. I will tell you more on discord.

Thats not correct at all lol we don’t even know where the jomsvikings were outside of a very much non specific pomeranian location which isn’t in poland at all lol. Now theorizing is nice and all but a single runestone on wolin doesn’t make enough proof. The jomsvikings existed over 1100 years ago and there is zero ways to point out the ACTUAL location of jomsborg…however awesome it would be to find it but yeah it’s highly unlikely wolin was the ctual location considering most of the jomsvikings confirmed locations for battles were in northern germany
