Moi publicly asked for forgiveness to everyone he wronged and he also forgave those who wronged him. That's biblical.
@trillfaldon99835 жыл бұрын
Moi and his family murdered and stole alot of Kenyan sovereign resources wealth just like his predecessor Jomo Kenyatta's family did and still are doing . Therefore his apology ought to have been both symbolic and in tangible actions, meaning not just empty words but because of the amount of resources they have stollen they should have physically compensated every left behind parents and children whose parents were assassinated under his despotic directives and dictatorial regime. Every human including Kenyans must be judged according to his actions towards another fellow man or woman while still living on earth and if you murder people to stay in power that doesn't have to suddenly change just because you died. If you were guilty and sturbon when alive then you are also guilty in death. Mr Koigi Wamwere is a victim who was imprisoned and tortured by a cruel man who didn't forgive even when asked to do so personally and someone wants to say that the same cruel man now dead did that publicly and it is known what Kenyan inherently corrupt politicians are capable of saying while on the podium making a show and giving empty promises on many things that they do not mean but are just mere political rhetoric ? So no it's unfair to literally force and bully a victim to forgive someone who was very brutal and cruel in life and now that he is dead somehow he has become an angel worthy of forgiveness. Hell No ! Koigi Wamwere is a living victim and wise intelligent people should listen to him and learn a lesson on how normal people or in this instance Kenyan citizens when they are given mandate to lead or political power can dramatically change and become one of the most cruel brutal and murderers devils on the planet who are immuned from genuine criticism. Kenyans should also learn that death should not be an excuse to cleanse there cruel evil sins and actions against another fellow Kenyan while living. A Kenyan or anyone living who has committed grave human injustices must cleanse their own evil sins with tangible actions when they are still alive by actively doing visible good compensating deeds including asking for forgiveness from the victims you have committed inhumane cruelty to. That should be the righteous and just way to be honoured and respected. Unless it's only in Kenya that you can live a very angry sturbon man who refuses to be criticized and reign as a brutal despotic and cruel dictatorship in life and suddenly in death you are the one whose victims have to be forced to forgive and anointed to sainthood which is unfortunate and illogical.
@trillfaldon99835 жыл бұрын
@ Judy Kirari : You didn't get the point or you are public citizen who uses illogical emotional attachment thinking by talking like one of Kenyan inherently chronically corrupt political predator class. The political activist Koigi Wamwere and victim just said he had one on one conversation with the now dead dictator and directly asked him to admit his wrong doing by just saying and I am paraphrasing " I'm sorry and I apologize for all the pain I made you and your family suffer through just to force you to worship and love my cruel iron fist dictatorial leadership" but Moi didn't apologize and you have the audacity here to say he did that publicly and even going further comparing that to be something biblical ? To say you are insanely ignorant and wrong even when facts are made bare to you is an understatement. Kenyans have a trust deficit. Infact you can never trust a single word that a Kenyan corrupt infested politician says on a podium infront of the general public. When a corrupt Kenyan politician stands on a stage infront of a cheering fanatic crowd with a Mic in his hands it's always a show of ego boosting and an opportunity of shouting senseless empty rhetoric and a convenient moment to popularize political propaganda lies by way of mesmerizing, bamboozling and hypnotizing the always ignorant hungry, desperate and poor public. If you are a Kenyan adult then you must have come to terms and a realization that any Kenyan especially a politician can never be trusted with what he or she says. This is my advice to you which must be a principle and a golden standard in your daily judgement and social contracts evaluations "a Kenyan or any human must be judged in accordance with what one has done or actively doing and not what he or she says she's going to do". Since empty rhetoric are always lies masquerade with sweet and entertaining politically charged slogans and are in most of the time toxic, dangerous and deadly .

@ George Kinyari : It's ignorant, stupid and senile people like you who admire and condone poor despotic leadership like Moi dictatorial leadership which didn't allow any form of criticism and divergent political views which could have ensured that the interests of each and every Kenyan in the entire nation were taken care of. Just because you are an opportunistic side liner and not a victim of human rights injustices and prolonged torture doesn't give you any right to just call a genuine political freedom fighting victim names. That is very cheap of you. Do you even know that during his time under brute Daniel A. Moi's dictatorship regime Mr Koigi Wamwere was detained and later imprisoned for just having a divergent opinion and sharing his genuine sound political criticism. So if there is any kind of freedoms and rights you might be enjoying right now it's due to the uncompromising stand, political liberation struggle and personal sacrifice of this man among others who were violently assassinated for all Kenyans to enjoy the same freedoms and rights. Mr Koigi Wamwere, Kenyatta Sr, Jaramogi and Moi among others fought so hard and tirelessly the British brute colonialists occupation to be free from but when Kenyatta and Moi got the mandate to lead they became worse than the just defeated British colonists. Mr Koigi Wamwere ought to be the genuine selfless Kenyan patriot to be honoured and respected but unfortunately there are unappreciative ignorant psychologically blind people like you who would rather honour bad inherently corrupt political predator class leadership behaviour and worship brute despotic dictatorship the likes of Moi regime instead of using the righteous logic of understanding and respecting a genuine liberation struggle, activist and a victim of inhumane injustices like this freedom fighter Mr Koigi Wamwere is. Do you know what they say about # Karma ? Just remember this " if something painful happens to a fellow man and you ignore it # laughing next time it may happen to you while # crying".
