Would it be accurate to translate Joyn 10:14 as: The Father is knowing me and I am knowing the Father. It sounds less like having a mental assent to the facts of something, and more like an active participation in relationship with someone. Thoughts?

Thank you Adelphos! It has been 25 years since my NT Greek courses. Which were actually mailed in correspondence! I just took it up again two weeks ago and then found your videos. They are very helpful so far, my memory is very dusty. How do I access the chart of verb endings you showed? I'm going to practice only twice per week right now because I'm working on Russian. My desire is to read God's word in several languages and your teaching will get me back on track with Koine! Spaseeba!
@GreekForAll3 жыл бұрын
Thank you brother. I am glad my videos are helpful. I am excited you are working in your Russian because it will definitely help with Greek or vice versa as both languages relate a lot. As for my paradigms, can access them on my website: www.greekforall.com/paradigms Blessings and thank you for your support

so in John 3.16 is belief in the present active indicative, or the present active continuous...
@GreekForAll Жыл бұрын
Neither. First, these are totally different concepts. Second, the word “the one who believes” is the present active participle which serves as a noun = the believing one, the believer, the one who believes.

@@GreekForAll interesting, have to think, on this one.....
@michaszymanski80633 жыл бұрын
It seems nicely done, I only do not understand why do you mix English and Greek in some of the examples which are very easy in terms of vocabulary. "to you" "the Father", "these things" etc. could (and IMHO should) be given all in Greek.
@GreekForAll3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you are right. It will get better. I just use examples from my classes. And this is the 2nd lesson in the course where students don't know much words. So I stick with verbs only here. Good note, thanks.
