@@davidmartenot2492 Yes, God is serious about our behavior and expects growth as we live by His Word as you said; and that will produce fruit, and make us more Christ-like, which will please God when we are at the judgment you refer to. I just viewed "Inheritances & Rewards" by Chuck Messler, and I do recommend it. God has so many possible rewards for us to look forward to. Our Heavenly Father's love never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Ephesians 6:11. Here are a couple more verses that I cherish about how God loves us: Isaiah 44:22; Lamentations 3:22-23; James 1:5.

Interesting. However, let’s remember that the Bible is not God. I’ve seen too many people who are obsessed with their Bibles that they don’t know God. God is Spirit. And the only way we can deeply know him is in the spiritual realm…not the intellectual.

@wlonsdale13 жыл бұрын
Just to let you know he wasn't a pastor. Just a teacher
@ThisAlphaWolf3 жыл бұрын
Title is the only difference between Dr. Missler and a man that has become a pastor. Dr. Missler did no less service to God's glory than nearly any pastor out there. I should note here that I believe that pastors are leaders and guides, not teachers. Jesus Christ, God's Holy Word, the Holy Spirit, these are teachers. If you have the Holy Spirit then there isn't anything that you can't know about scripture in the appropriate context when considering the discernment that the Holy Spirit provides to us. If Earthly guidance, or leadership, is required, look no further than those called by God to lead His flocks. A pastor is the head of the flock, yet even still, a member of the flock. Jesus alone is the Shepherd. We should be very careful about placing too much emphasis on our pastors. A good pastor would be the first to say so, as humility and humbleness are hallmark qualities of a pastor. A good pastor also knows that they're there to serve the Lord and makes that known to the congregants. Not to serve themselves, not to serve the congregation, but to serve the Lord's purposes and be obedient to God's plans for them, always to His glory. To lead the flock is a job of the utmost importance, as the flock will inevitably follow their leader. A good pastor will be faithful in following the Shepherd, Yeshua Jesus Christ. Basically, the point that I mean to illustrate is that there is little to no difference between what Dr. Missler has done and what pastors do. No man has more importance to God than another, in God's overall plan. Individually, we will differ in obedience and good works, but that statistical data (so to speak) is for God's use alone. Only He can know that, as only He knows the contents of our hearts or the integrity and specifics of our intentions. Dr. Missler, by all appearances, has the joy of the Lord about him. He has been blessed through his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that The Bible tells us can only come through Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. He was a fine ambassador for Christ. Was he infallible? Absolutely not. But he was by all appearances, a man doing his best to follow God's plan for him and in doing so, leading others to Jesus Christ and guiding them on their journeys as much as any pastor would do, all for God's glory and only God's glory. I'm sure there will be some that would vigorously disagree with me on the role of a pastor. If you lean this direction, feel free to make the case for your belief using scriptural support. To my knowledge, there are no passages that tell of any man holding more importance in God's sight than another. I'm deliberately not including those that God elected for His specific purposes, such as prophets or the Kings that God set into their places, in this statement. They knew their place in God's plan and amongst the people with their roles far overshadowing the current roles of pastorship. Not to mention that pastorship doesn't require prophet status to be effective at being a leader for the brethren looking to them for guidance to the Lord, in accordance to His plans. He calls whom He calls, yes. But if you can watch Dr. Missler talk about the variety of topics that he covers, in the way that he does it, and still honestly think that he wasn't called by God to do what he did, I don't know what else to tell you. To be clear, I'm not suggesting that we exalt Dr. Missler, I'm simply stating that I respect his obvious sense of responsibility to the Lord and the fact that he knew what he knew BECAUSE of his relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor or not, he was just as great of a leader as any. I'm certain that Dr. Missler would have agreed that we need no congratulations or pat on the back for being obedient to God as we very well should. I am equally certain that Dr. Missler would have gracefully declined to be set on a pedestal, as would any humble, Christ emulating, God fearing, Lord loving man of leadership, that is truly after God. The same as any believer should, to be truthful. God's love, protection, comfort, blessings and correction, in addition to the amazing lovingly merciful gift of Salvation and thereby everlasting life, are all the thanks that we should desire in return for our choice to be as obedient and walk ever closer to the Lord. I'll let it rest at that. Thank you for hearing me out. I've sought guidance on this matter through prayer and this is what I've been given as an answer. Dr. Missler was an amazing leader, for which I am deeply thankful to the lovingkindness of the Lord for providing us with through him. All thanks, praise and glory be unto the Most High, the One God, the Living God, always and forever, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

I read this book years ago I found it accidentally and it was so amazing I marked it all up and then passed it on and other people read it. It was amazing the truth in God word & all the neat little nuggets we get to find if you keep digging it's amazing :-) I think the Lord threw him in there on purpose for those of us who dig it just keeps feeding your spirit so much in there it's amazing ..

Chuck's closing prayer is something I have greatly missed in the "modern re-uploads" of Chuck's videos.

Awesome teaching although I don't need any proof at all as I believe in God's Word like a little child. Thanks Koinonia House for always keep releasing these amazing gems. Amen and amen. Thank you sir, Mr Missler you sir are a genius. I believe the lady is correct, she said the Lord took you before things became very uncomfortable on the Earth.

Praying is talking, not necessarily worshipping a saint.
