Like on mt. Sinai, how they made the golden calf and named the same pagan feast after YWHV. As I recall, He wanted to kill them all for breaking the blood covenant. Let us break the first commandment and call it after YWHV, then we will break the others as we go. Did he not say to "not bring the abomination into the camp? " Do not learn the way of the heathen , how they serve their gods.

It strikes me as I watch Chuck, as he is in his prime at this time in his life, that the footsteps of time, and feebleness of body are not many years hence. Yet he was a man in a fervent, passionate race, to reveal Christ and his word as he had come to know him: to run his race with all his strength before body and strength waned, and all he could do, in the end, was sit and wait patiently and in faith for his Savior to come for him. How grateful I am that God gave us, at the end of the age, a man of such unwavering integrity, fierce intelligence and love for truth. I thank God for Koinonia House, Ron Matson (sp?), and all the other faithful believers there who supported Chuck and Nancy through their earthly journey.

Nearly 30 years ago another bible teacher and myself would frequently discuss this over coffee for years and just using scripture, we came up constantly with September- it had to be September or Springtime, but we kept coming to September. I've heard so many try to squeeze Jesus' birth into December 25, but they are always inconsistent with even just using scripture.
@francescamiddleton58844 жыл бұрын
It was during the feast of Tabernacles, the bible is clear, and the circumstances of His birth confirm the prophecy of the feast. So during our September-ish. So He would have been conceived around December.

One can't know, but Kislev 25 is Hanukkah. It would make sense that when Constantine established his Solar Calendar, the Bishops simply borrowed the 25th of Kislev, placing Christmas on the 25 of the new calendar. The 25th of December on the Gregorian Calendar never falls on the Winter Solstice .But yah, so much rolled up over a couple of weeks . Well, traditions were melted together.

Yes, Chuck Missler was very good, and due to the blessing of modern technology, he STILL IS, but the great thing about Chuck Missler was that he was not afraid to follow where the Bible and the Spirit lead. Chuck, while he would use (and recognized) allegorical, metaphorical, and other aliteral interpretation in his exegesis, nevertheless, he only did so when the scriptures supported such a reading. Chuck Missler took the Bible literally, and strove to understand (and teach) what it SAYS, and not what he wanted it to say. Oftentimes this took him into topics and interpretations that most (a very high percentage anyway) preachers and teachers wouldn't even know about, and would not dare to speak about from the pulpit, or in private. Also, unlike most teachers, Chuck was willing to change his mind on a topic if the scriptures supported it, but he was also bold and inquisitive when studied the Bible. A true officer, and a gentleman; a leader trying to figure out the Word of God, and eager to show us the way, but also urging us to dig into the scriptures and check out the truth for ourselves rather than just take his word for what the Bible says; and personally, I consider that the primary mark of a great Bible teacher -- which he definitely is. Chuck Missler was also very kind and humble, when he was teaching something that was (wrongly) interpreted by other people or denominations, he never upbraided them, or cast aspersions at them, unless it was a matter of major error, heresy, or even blasphemy, but instead he would tackle the subject with rigorous exegesis, happily dismantling the opposite position to show you what was involved, and then used the Bible to show what it was about, and then told you to take it up and look into it yourself. Back in my younger days, when I was very anti-christianity, and because I became determined to find out and learn about all of the errors, contradictions, and other things in the Bible that help me to PROVE it was wrong, I didn't go to sources or books (no Internet!) for my research, instead I made the grave mistake of actually reading the Bible, and listening to Christian Talk Radio. Listening to Chuck Colson, J. Vernon McGee, Tom Ellif, Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, and I think, also Chuck Missler. Within a few months I gave it up, and became a believer. Far better minds than mine have tried to disprove the Bible, or at least Jesus and the New Testament, and failed. I've heard that many of them also became Christians. I don't think it's in this video, but in several of the videos Chuck goes through and breaks down the meaning of the names in the first genealogy in Genesis, and like Chuck, I can't believe that when the ancient Hebrew scholars were copying and preserving the Torah, that they would pass onto us an outline of the Messiah's New Testament Theology in the first book of the Bible, and that they didn't edit it out after the crucifixion, because it's obvious that they knew it was in there. I assume that it is just another example of the blindness of the Jewish people in refusing to accept Jesus as the Christ, which, while it was prophecied in the Bible, it's still a tragedy of the first order; and yet another proof of the veracity of the Bible. Sorry for rambling, but you might also want to check out Allen Nolan, Les Feldick, Mike Heiser, L.A. Marzulli, Lee Brainard, John Barnett, John MacArthur, Robert Breaker, Robert Spencer, Jay Smith, and Ken Johnson. 🙏✝️👑✝️🙏

It is no great challenge to strengthen your faith when you have the truths of scripture revealed through the teachings of one who has given their lives to the learning of the hidden wisdom of God. The frustration is in the transferring of this wisdom to the unbeliever, since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The Gospel remains the key to winning souls, even though I'm often tempted to try proving it, to no avail. It is hard to get a saint to sit and learn and more so the unsaved, no matter how the logic of such proofs seems irrefutable. The things of God are so deep and profound. Pride will not allow us to search them out. Only humility.

Yeshua was born around the last week of September or the first week of October, during the Feast of Tabernacles because Jesus does everything on time. Our Old Testament tells us the Messiah will come during the Feast of Tabernacles. How do we know this? It is in the book of Luke. Zechariah went into the temple to pray. While praying he was told "your wife will bear a son". We know that Zechariah belonged to the priesthood that served in the 3rd month of the Jewish calendar, July. We learn this in Chronicles. Six months later Mary is told by the same angel she is going to have and son and to go visit Elizabeth because she is having a son. This would have been in December by our calendar. So doing simple math, John is born in March and Jesus is born late Sept or early Oct.

@@wayneworsham8464 I'm not as familiar with the feasts or Jewish holidays, but their case was that based on the Bible, they were looking for a constellation, Tishri 1 with a new moon and an appropriate Feast. Ended up 9/11/-3 was the only day that fit all three with the Feast of Trumpets, Revelations 12 sign and Tishri 1 with a new moon. Personally, I find it interesting but ultimately, if YHVH really wanted us to know Yeshua's birthday and celebrate it, He would have told us. He did tell us certain days to celebrate and I'm going to study His Feasts and holidays this year coming up. Maybe next year, my family will celebrate Hanukkah.

@@basedboomer5912 Agreed. And Jesus never told us to remember his birth anyway. Actually we are free from following ANY calendar. That is what the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 tells us and Paul tells us that in Colossians. But as Christians we should be knowledgeable of the different Jewish Feasts and Holidays. The Jews gave us the Bible and Jesus is Jewish. And as Gentile Believers we are grafted on the Jewish olive tree. I recommend a great, quick read book by a friend of mine...."Why Christians Should Care About Their Jewish Roots" by Nancy Petrey. Churches just don't teach or stress our Jewish roots as they should.

We use the Gregorian calendar. A few years ago the concept of date and time had occupied my mind and I spent some energy trying to get a grip on it. Eventually you come to the realization that the construct is complex and poorly recorded so you are left with the knowledge that at this point in this existence, we do not know the date or really even what time is. What i also can away with is that Christmas as we know it is a pagan celebration. I don’t celebrate it which causes some issue with friends and family.

Crow... greetings. I can relate to your situation. But as we know...having a relationship with Our Saviour Jesus... You start to realise...many many people change (there Spirit). It's like the word of Our Saviour Jesus...disturbs there personalities. Jesus is Love and Kindness to myself. But to the anti - Christ...that's including close family members. It's poison to them. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life...Amen. Have a great day and week ahead.

The Bible is amazing. In Jeremiah 10:4,5 the Christmas tree is described perfectly the only thing God didn't mention was the LED lights.

Seder Olam recorded that the 1st order of priests was serving at the fall of both temples. There are 24 orders, each serving a week, changing at the noon of Satirday. Av 10, AD 70 was a Sunday. The Sunday before Av 10, 586 BC. was Av 6. The difference between Av 6, 586 BC and Av 10 AD 70 divides 168=7×24. It means the resord is correct, and the 8th order (John the Baptists father) served in the fall of 6 BC. So John the Baptist was conceived in c.Oct 6 BC, Jesus 6 months later in c. Mar 5 BC, and born in c.Dec 5 BC. It was the 1st day of Hanukkah.

At a Jewish Pesach Seder, they (we) set a place for Elijah. Waiting for his arrival. So this aligns very well with JtB. Elijah comes before Messiah. Amen!

Coordinates for Jerusalem add up to 49. 31.7683° N, 35.2137° E = 49 What are the chances of that on top of all the other sevens ?

I think it fine to celebrate Jesus birth in December 25 Were not worshiping pagan deity were worshiping Christ and this Christmas deal is a great time to talk to children about Jesus Christ so whatever brings good attention to Jesus I don’t see as bad

@Elizabeth Collier I agree 100% . I was trying to explain the deception to my father and he gets mad at me. I'm just telling him because I love him. I'm just crazy though

@Elizabeth Collier may the father bless you to always. I'm in the same boat. I had 5g proof right in front of them and they made it like I was crazy and just want me to forget about it. Told me they can't do anything about it so ignore it! I will never the father led me to it and I'll never ignore the evil madness! Hope you have a great holiday. Stay safe and stay true.

SEPT 29, 2BC. Thanks Chuck! Considering this day will move around without referencing the New Moons. On a Gregorian, in that Day, it's probably pretty close! Question is, do Christians really care? I hope so! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY I HOPE SO!
