It's likely just me, but I felt like Koko sensed something in Robin. Animals are so intuitive, the way she embraced him at the end & they both looked into each other's eyes, it was like they had a silent mutual understanding on what he was going through. He'd been suffering depression for many years before his passing, & I could sense it was a spiritual moment for both of them, especially Robin. Bless them both x

Man on phone Well she thinks that the gorilla knew ahead of time about the circumstances that lead to the death of Robin Williams. She thinks that this gorilla is somekind of wizard or some shit :D I think the gorilla is smart and probably recognized Robin from it's favorite movie and there was a great connection between them, but thinking that the gorilla can see the future and read minds is something else.
@LauraBidingCitizen8 жыл бұрын
+WTF 7 I have watched your comments roll into my inbox with great amusement.. So in hindsight I had to give a thanks for the comedy factor, even if I was more laughing at you than with you ;) It's been scientifically proven domesticated animals such as cats & dogs can pick up the scent of Cancer in the human body - all you need to do is Google. They're also incredibly in tune with human pain & emotions. I don't have to say a word or act differently to my animals, for them to all surround me on my bed. We are ALL animals, we are mammals, & some (& you're a perfect example of this) of us are certainly no more intelligent than these animals - especially Gorillas like Koko. The only difference between Koko & us, is that we can verbally talk - she can not, but she does communicate in sign language. Just like how humans can sense someone else's emotions (feeling sad, thoughtful, despondent - to happy & ecstatic), these animals instincts are no different in sensing how we're feeling.
@LauraBidingCitizen8 жыл бұрын
+WTF 7 I also never stated she predicted his death, those were your words, not mine :) However, I absolutely & categorically stand by my original statement, & my responses to you. Sometimes in life you'll meet people you don't agree with despite the mountains of evidence that's handed to you on a plate. However, rather than poorly attempting to argue unnecessarily, or try to be a childish troll, sometimes it's best to shrug it off & move on, especially if it doesn't have such a large impact on your life overall. I may have likely taken you a bit more seriously had to left your paragraph originally! Happy to help explain my side of things if approached correctly :) So far 8 people agreed with me - I'm content knowing others understood! All the best & take care,

Robin Williams made light of a lot of things in his jokes, but there was a depth in his eyes that were thousand's of years old.
@shelleymagnussen19599 жыл бұрын
+Barbs Morning Garden Some comedians had difficult childhoods filled with abuse or other tragedies. They often hide behnd their gift of humor. A lot of people hide their depression behind many things. I have been suicidal and almost followed through. I couldn't because I knew what it would do to my family and got my hide to the ER ASAP. It's hard though, to keep those things in mind when you feel so trapped that it looks like the only way out is to end your life. It's difficult to understand unless you've experienced it yourself.

Apologies for that... I also have rather strong feelings about animals. My original response to all of this reflects that, I think. Amusingly enough, I felt sympathetic for Cassie, in as much as I understood her position. My response to her was meant just to highlight that Koko has enough emotional strength to be told the truth, and deserved as much. If you have not already, please watch the video I linked in my original response. It really is quite beautiful. It's quite late here, so I will have to bid you farewell for the evening. Talk more soon, I hope.

You are simply letters on my screen an honestly I wouldnt dare sink myself to such a level in the first place. Im not going to call you names or cuss..I went off more then I should have an let anger get the best of me but I have nothing further to say to you besides keep my name out of this from now on. I will continue to have an opinion..for as long as I live an theres NOTHING anyone can do about that. Hate all you want but I choose a different path. Goodbye an take care :)

I think I would have to agree. St. Francis of Assisi is my favourite beatified saint, and was one who appreciated the kinship between humans and animals. Amazing to see evidence of the spiritual life in animals when so many humans are spiritually dead. :-(
@DeborahCheetham6910 жыл бұрын
Pete J. Your answer was a refreshing change! I totally agree with you. I have a wonderful relationship with animals and can feel what they need and may be saying. I could not communicate without words like that if they did not have a companion soul. My daughter lost her dog and they were together always and you can see a large Orb in photo's when we play with our new dog. I have also filmed a large Orb on many many occasions when i call her name, and it does as i ask, so i have no doubt that they have souls! I know that i have sounded bizarre now but i stand by my truth no matter what and have all of the proof i need. Thank you for asking me that, i feel more spiritually alive now :) I do feel sorry for those humans amongst us that seemingly have none :(

I would NEVER tickle a gorilla, even if it literally asked me to. You know those moments when you're getting tickled and suddenly it's too much and you start shoving and hitting whoever's tickling you away? Imagine that but it's a gorilla getting tickled. That would be a bad time.

I think she just wanted to laugh and this was the easiest way. Plus, why would you ever tickle a gorilla for that long anyway? You do it for a few seconds each time she asks. Since she can't understand his jokes, haha

I'm not sure gorrilas are even ticklish in that sense. It's not a very reasonable reflex to have anyway. I think it's more like petting for her.

Profound sadness connects all living beings that have the ability to feel. Joy is very personal and it doesn't need support. It can be shared but it's not necessary. It comes and goes. Sadness can grow roots and become permanent. I wish I had met Robin Williams, he was a monster of an actor and not only a comedian. Passing away his infinite sadness ended and was spread to the rest of the world like dust blown by strong winds. We all caught a little sad dust that used to be his. I may have caught a little more than my share.

That was so beautiful to see Robert Williams smiling with Koko knowing it was a very TRUE smile. No acting. He was sincerely happy! It was nice to see that he had times like this that were truely happy considering he ended his own life that was obviously too painful to live. RIP!

I don't know how I got here, but I'm sure glad I did. I've been dealing with an illness that's kicking my ass ,but im afraid to leave my job cause I have a young family to support. But this . . . this just hit me right in the heart and I can't think of a reason for not giving a fight against what's killing me. Especially when you see things like this. R.I.P Robin Williams and You will always be loved by family. Two beautiful souls indeed ;)-

If you would teach 100 gorillaz sign language, how long would it take one of them to find out that they are way stronger than us and start telling the others?
@wariodude1288 жыл бұрын
Well for one, they already have their normal gorilla language to communicate with each other. Which, by the way, we have no means of translating yet. Second, I'm pretty sure they know that already. It's just that they don't care too much because us humans mostly don't live in forests for them to swing from tree to tree in.

until they realize we are smart enough to build 'artificial' trees that dispense unlimited bananas for them then, will they go to war we must not let them know
