I'd say he's usually overlooked because international fans prefer voices like D.O. and Baekhyun, which seems to be the opposite from the korean public. I agree that a May We Bye performance deserves a reaction because that's honestly one of my favorite performances EVER! I love hearing a duet between two powerhouse vocalists

Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Watching EXO's older MV's always reminds me of how lucky Lay is to get away from SM. The man was never allowed to shine or show his talents in EXO and suppressed in favour of the Korean members. Now he is the "King of China" and has become a powerhouse in China, his home country. SM and EXO have nothing to offer him and haven't since he joined them, apart from his friendship with the members.
