Kolan River Retreat

An awesome spot to camp right on a river and close to Bundaberg and Bargara. This is a working farm.
Sugar cane is the primary crop with soya beans and oats grown in recent years. A small number of cattle are present primarily to keep grass (fire hazard) in check.
There is approximately 2km of saltwater river frontage that offers fisherman the choice of walking the sand flats on the making tide to launching their boat at our ramp giving access all the way to the river mouth.
The camping area is large and mostly flat and because the owners do not want the area to be crowded, camping is by reservation only.
