Koljady - Carpatho-Rusyn Christmas Carols

My father and grandparents sang on this album. I sang with this choir for awhile too, and am credited on one their other albums even though I wasn't at any of the recording sessions. It's good to hear it again. The last time would have been 30 years ago or more.

Brings back many memories of when I was a little girl and the choir would break into two groups and go Caroling at the homes of the parishoners of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox church in Whitestone, NY.

Brings back beautiful and fun childhood memories when our church choir and the children of the church would go caroling to every parishioner’s home. Made me cry.
