Glad to see someone trying to restore a machine instead of just scraping it. That said, please restore the machine properly. Don’t just put a single coat of cheap paint. Don’t use body filler on heave machinery. Just sand blast it and then paint. Torque all bolts according to spec. Don’t reuse relatively inexpensive parts. In other words, do not do an “auction house rebuild.” Lastly eat that chicken. 😊

I got to see things that aren't normally shown on these videos. Grinding the crank shaft, making hydraulic lines, cleaning the fuel injectors. And very creative using the outriggers on the truck as a hydraulic jack. Brilliant restoration.

Terima kasih atas cinta yang kalian berikan kepada kami, kami berjanji akan lebih berkembang lagi agar tidak mengecewakan kalian 😃😃
My goodness so many repairs.. The care taken on the crank shaft and injectors is amazing..The excavator was just trashed..glad to see you fixing the thing.. It is hard to believe that a digging yoke and pins could be so worn out.. But when a restoration is needed it’s best to tear everything down..fix, repair or replace the parts.. That door or the side should get fixed too..☺️👍

There is 1 thing missing here.... You should have proper sand-blasting cabinet where you can clean off the stuff in instead of wirewhealing them and then adding putty to hide rest of the rust. To bad that part but except for that pretty nice work done :) Alot of effort put into it for sure
@restorationproduct1718 Жыл бұрын
Because we are poor, the sandblasting cabinet is very expensive. We did not dare to think about it, thank you for your feedback.
@DIYTechRepairs Жыл бұрын
@@restorationproduct1718 By the work you do i think you could build a room for it. Of course you need a bigger compressor and the sand. But on other hand i have seen people build that out of car motors to like v8 and other :) Neither less a little paint gets you a long way. Perhaps in the videos add some text explaining some of the choices like why do we only swap out that seal or why did we do this :)

Unfortunately that you live in Vietnam where things are scarce or not available (the welding goggle protection, the breathing protection for the dusty grinding jobs, etc.). With your excellent craftsmanship and inventive engineering skills you can certainly achieve more in France, Germany or even in the States than in Vietnam. However, your excellent work is showing the world what "true recycling" and "resource conservation" means and how it is realizing. No great politician babble. No outrageously expensive workshop for the "economic scientists" and "economy and industry ministers".

While your skills are impressive, don't just paint panels that are just about to rust through. Torch them out and weld in replacement panels. Also, please wear proper protection when doing the work. There is no point dying early and spending the last few years in agony because you kept breathing in all kinds of dust.

It may look better, but it is still a piece of crap, the frame is rusted & pitted and A DEATH TRAP.. Tack welding without removing rusted parts is not a repair, it's like putting a bandage on gunshot.. They got some skills, but still that thing was rusted almost completely through and there was no sheet metal replaced.. Also the main drive gear was severely wore down to sharp spikes, That was just putting lipstick on a pig..
