I'm impressed by several things here. The work that goes into collection, retrieval, the know-how to operate these machines, and the fact there isn't some crappy music covering it all. Just the pure ASMR of heavy machines at work.

@@itzmrman3574 just did some light research on the WA800, Komatsu Europe said it can carry a 20,700 kg pay load with "standard boom configuration" which worked out to 45,635 lbs (or between 22-23 tons)... now all we have to do is find the weight of a cy (cubic yard) of what ever kind of rock this is, and then do a rough and educated guess on how many cy's are in the slabs to see if the kubatsu could in fact lift it

@anonymousanonymous9991
@anonymousanonymous9991 3 жыл бұрын
This is what they want to happen. Notice the shovel loader always piles rubble under where the next slab will fall. I think the goal is 3 chunks. As much material as the loaders can carry without wasting time seems to be 1/3 of a slab. More than 3 chunks and you're unnecessarily trading time spent for effort put in. Work as hard as possible while working as smart as possible.

@@TheFreshSpam so your positive they used ropes and wood and had way more deaths or did the mainstream history tell you that? Have you seen the size of stones cut back then? Use your brain..history is hidden from us to make us think ancients were dumb when in fact they had better technologies then we do if u look at the size of the stones they were cutting and structures built.. his story.. history.. don't believe everything your told and actually think for yourself brotha

@@eduardoacosta6475 hello? Are you just assuming everything. Why are ropes and more basic procesess stupid? They arent. I'm simply stating what materials they would have access to. Ok genuis. If not ropes did they use steel cables? They all hold hands? They brought and alien digger out? No they grafted hard and used their head. The strength came in numbers. I can factually tell you they build these things put of rope and wood becuase none of the tools that properly survive from those eras were anything else but. That doesnt t make the tool less clever it was a different time. And yes they would have had way more deaths becuase health and safety was not nearly a thing as it is today. That is fact you only get health and safety from the fact people maybe LEARNT from mistakes in the past. Get over the fact you think using rope is stupid and degoritaory. Its not And last thing. If you are thinking I'm saying they cut the stone with rope, I end this conversation here. You are too stupid to save

Мне эти кадры напомнили добычу гранита под Асуаном в Египте. Такой же 8-12 метровый карьер с отвесными стенами под 90 градусов. Да давненько это было.

It always blows my mind that stuff like that is in the ground. But why do they let it hit the ground and crack all messed up? I thought they'd be more methodical about it.

It's hard to put into perspective the size of those slabs even after they break. They are no use at that size, even after they break they still get cut down.

The surface of the broken pieces is still like 10 ft x 7 ft or something. Plenty big enough for countertops. And If they are making marble tile its bigger than it even needs to be.
