Maatsen was originally a Chelsea academy player who was loaned out to Burnley cos he wasn't ready, but he was always gonna struggle in the Prem, as we have seen at times in Bundesliga and UCL, he really struggles with the physicality to be a two way full back. In the Prem, he would get eaten alive at full back.

Not if you used him correctly imo. I get that he might not be the most physical but his ball playing ability 99% of the time is elite. You would have to offer protection next to him in order to get the best out of him

Thats why Poch had to play him higher up the pitch, he's inteligent and good on the ball and that way doesn't get bullied off it on the counter.

Im not doing it for the views. Im doing it because its more fun as well as a creator. Series do well for 1,2,3 Episodes and then die to half the viewership. @CaniSports He has great ability, he has pace, he can score but he doesn't like team play, that's why pep sold him, while pep style tactic required highly cooperate with teammate and stay on the side not always try to walk into middle stuck the place, dribbling alone, try to score by himself. Even Pep failed to change his mind I don't think kompany can. Sane is a good player but just not suitable for these kind of tactics, just like he could play well in real madrid but he will be bad in Barcelona. Inter is suit for him in my opinion. And the other problem is seems lot of bayern fans and maybe managial level like sane, if kompany really finds out sane is not suit for his tactic, if he bench him there will be risk of getting dislike. This is my opinion, I am bayern fan too😂
