What’s really crazy is that these guys r like nerds that broke out and landed n the cool zone...the singer has some kind of a masters degree n physics or something, from a place like MIT. Sorry to b guessing and not factual, but I’m damned close, I just forgot the details. Bottom line is that they’re VERY educated from great schools but chose to start this band and ride the wave all the way. I’m glad they did.

The ukulele idea is fucking genius! :D I never thought too much about the lyrics since I was like 16 when this came out. But I have studied some psychology and also been in relationships like this, and this is like a textbook example of a relationship with a cluster B personality. "The more you suffer, the more it shows you really cares" is the key behind the behavior. And you most often realize you've been a sucker after the relationship ends. This song means a lot more today than back in... Whenever it came out. x)

These persons are worldwide famous rock stars and so down-to-earth and humble. No extravagant outfits, no naughty pride. So normal people-like and connected to their fancore. And they seem happy with all of that. Bringing thrills, memories and happiness everywhere they go where they can have a mic and a guitar, whatever the kind it is, for over than 30 years. These men are stable monoliths and peaceful markstones of art and pleasure in this era of evanescence, madness, dumbness, communautarisms, nationalisms and selfishness. Thank you Dexter and Noodles for the music and the lesson of life.

This music brings back so many good memories from the nineties and early 2k. What a time to be alive.

I wrote her off for the tenth time today And practiced all the things I would say But she came over I lost my nerve I took her back and made her dessert Now I know I'm being used That's okay because I like the abuse I know she's playing with me That's okay 'cause I've got no self-esteem Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah We make plans to go out at night I wait till two then I turn out the light This rejection's got me so low If she keeps it up I just might tell her so Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah When she's saying that she wants only me Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends When she's saying that I'm like a disease Then I wonder how much more I can spend Well I guess I should stick up for myself But I really think it's better this way The more you suffer The more it shows you really care, right, yeah, yeah Now I'll relate this a little bit That happens more than I'd like to admit Late at night she knocks on my door She's drunk again and looking to score Now I know I should say no But that's kind of hard when she's ready to go I may be dumb But I'm not a dweeb I'm just a sucker with no self-esteem Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah yeah Oh yeah yeah When she's saying, oh, that she wants only me Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends When she's saying, oh, that I'm like a disease Then I wonder how much more I can spend Well, I guess I should stick up for myself But I really think it's better this way The more you suffer The more it shows you really care Right, yeah, yeah, yeah

He‘s barely hitting the notes, he improved over the years but is still very offkey. I‘d suggest you look to other singers for singing advice, and look to him for how to write great songs.
