I don't know when it happened, but there's been this ridiculous thing in rock culture here where everyone worries about looking dumb it seems. "I don't want to look uncool" they think, so they just stand there and stare at the stage like it's a movie instead of moving around crazy and having fun.

At first, The Offspring always was pop-punk, at second Ed Sheeran not first time at one stage with rockstars. Previously he made metalcore vershion of his "Bad Habits" with BMTH and present it in Brit Awards 2022. He is not a new guy in this genre of music.

I've never sat and dissected one of their songs to discover if the formula is super simple or what.. i think they have some creativity that lacks within pop, as wide a title as it seems to be, i mean we can call U2 pop.. but, it's still pretty Rock-y and to not mention it seems almost tonedeaf.

Now that is to be praised! A boy who is on wave crest, super cool who has the new world at his feet and knows how to recognize the old school of Punk Rock. Without arrogance, envy but with a lot of education. Even so, because it's not even the style of music he plays. And seeing him on stage with this joy and simplicity is a pleasure! I congratulate you Ed Sheeran.The only negative thing about this song is the audience. They look like they're fucking dead. They paid a ticket to see one of the best Punk Rock bands in the world and they're just standing there watching. Simply sad.
