This is basically what killed Call of Duty. They fired all of their original talent and the publisher NOT the developer took complete creative control of the series, then immediately gutted the game of everything that made the game good and unique and then made it a generic half assed shell of itself to try to "appeal to the masses and more casual" market and try to sell it only on it's name recognition. For all you Metal Gear fans out there, as a hardcore Call of Duty fan from Call of Duty 2: Big Red One up until there was nothing left to love in the series (with BO and MW2) All I have to say is welcome to my hell, I'm sorry you guys have to join me here...

I dont blame you for having that opinion But for me as i assess the situation it just doesnt seem like they will pull through. Besides that they also cancelled a Silent Hill game that looked like it was going to be something amazing as well as announcing they will no longer make triple A games but refusing to give away the license to these games to other game companies so we will probably never get good sequels to them again.

Why... is the footage for this video Counter Strike? Shouldn't you at least try to make the actual video at least somewhat related to the subject matter, or failing that, record yourself talking? It's not like it would have been hard to string together some MGS:V gameplay.

It's starting to become a trend of game devs just going for quick cash grabs instead of actually putting the creative processes to use and creating awesome games. Any games that have potential are bought out and then turned to shit look at what they did with deadspace turned a survival horror into a co-op shooter

True that. I refused to buy Phantom Pain as well. I would have supported Kojima with Phantom Pain, gladly. But with the new Konami in front of him? With assholes that dont know what the hell they are doing but even worse than that, they treat their employees like slaves, dont respect the industry, their own franchises and give a shit about their fans? Never. Now Konami has a lot to prove. From my point of view, i only may consider Konami again if they get rid of all their current top dogs and hire new ones that know about gaming and respect the industry. But NOW with Kojima working without the current Konami, i will gladly support Kojima like with Death Stranding. But without him, Metal Gear (Solid) is dead.

One way that they could have done this to make it better is take the concept that someone survived the destruction of the old Mother Base and have that character go undercover in the organization that attacked Mother Base and have him find more secrets than what Big Boss discovered while he was in that coma for 7 years.

woulda made more sense if they made Survive about the stories of the surviving members of Fox Team you had to find in MGSV and why they were left in a weird maddened haze. But then again I think with my brain.
