Boy, I'd forgotten about the "Henry Mancini" jazz saxophone and big-band part that starts just after the 1 minute mark. I remember when I saw the movie thinking about the contrast between that, and the garbage, traffic, street hustlers, hookers and all the rest of it that made up the world where the movie characters spent most of their time.
