Kondapochamma Sagar Reservoir || Top places to visit around Hyderabad

Kondapochamma Reservoir is a reservoir constructed near Markook - Pamulaparthi villages in Siddipet District as part of Link 4, Package 14 of Kaleswaram Upliftment Scheme . Constructed at a height of 510 meters above sea level with a storage capacity of 15 TMC at a cost of Rs.1,540 crore, this reservoir provides irrigation water to the combined Medak district as well as Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district and Medchal districts . This reservoir was inaugurated on May 29, 2020 by Chief Minister KCR . [ 1 ] This is the 10th lift in the Kaleshwaram project. - (Source: Wikipedia).
Its around 50Kms from Hyderabad. You can visit it in Winter - Summer in the mornings to enjoy morning sunrise and pleasant atmosphere, if having a motorbike. The bike ride feels wow. Less crowded and pleasant place to sit relax and go. If any food items are bought, it's recommended to carry back the covers/waste. Near to the dam Anjaneya temple is present, it's just around 1km distance. If you are paragliding enthusiast or adventure lover then there is a paragliding spot nearby.
