The part that struck me the most is the gap between typical German factory and what was shown here, there is very little automation when it came to machining operations, the blocks and the heads were all setup manually in each machine, in typical German factory it's completely automated, both loading and unloading after machining cycle. Surprising to see this.

I had a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander GT with a 3.0 liter and that was a very good reliable engine. Now they come out with a body they share with Nissan, with the same engine throughout all the same sub trims, and the only thing you pay extra for is the technology. Not really worth it if you want more power but worth it if you want reliability.

Where is the part of the factory where they make the terrible decisions to discontinue their best products and only make cheap junk? Didn't see that part. Must have missed it. I would love nothing more than to see Mitsubishi make a real comeback with cars and trucks people actually can get excited about but that just does not appear to be an option.
