KONE MRL Traction Elevators & Fire Alarm - Nordstrom - Yorkdale Shopping Centre, North York ON

In the beginning there was the fire alarm sound was activate in the entire mall until the halfway of the video it went back to normal as usually since fire alarm sound stop ringing. This is an elevator in Nordstrom Store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in North York ON. The elevator are very nice and still run very nicely. These elevator serve all 5 underground parking floors too alone with the 3 floors for the store section. Install in 2016.

Can’t believe the elevator would operate when the fire alarm is going off as they are suspposed to recall

Depends on which device is activated. For example the detector(S) in the elevator lobby, shaft or machine room activate, they automatically recall. If it is a device other than that, there is no other reason for them to go into fire recall.

@@twentyfour44 nah its just because the system is in stage 1 and it hasnt fully been confirmed that there is an actual fire yet
