I love when you thank the things that you purged. I think that is the right thing to do. It shows you appreciate things. I know husbands don't care much for this kind of things, but it made me sad the way he spoke to you. That would've hurt my feelings, but I'm sensitive that way. I love all your videos about purging. Dont take it as offensive but women in the middle east has higher tolerance level when it comes to marriage cuz they dont get offended easily and just break off the marriage. And the attitude he was showing in this video is simply showing he is superior and doesnt care much abt girly stuff. he has much important stuff to deal with rather than dealing with shoes. hope i explained it correctly.

You have a LOT of things that bring you joy! As I'm going through the process I understood that (for me) it requires being ruthless a bit. That said, I have SO much and am motivated to really keep what's used instead of duplicates. One workout, one casual sneakers, one beige, one black, one beige heel & two sandals (one for dress). Your options are easier... But Marie Kondo says we only have to do her method once. My husband, by the way, is the same. Noticed how you congratulated him on a job well done (twice) because I suppose he doesn't see the point? Or doesn't get it? Lots of resentment .... In any case, he DID do it, right? That's farther than I've gotten with my husband. Please wish me luck & thanks for taking time to make this video.

Sweet Maudie Mae!! I just counted 15 pairs of shoes in my closet, including three pairs of walking shoes and two pairs I wear for biking. And I felt I needed to revisit THAT number.

So funny about your hubby. I get it. I took all my husbands clothes out of his dresser and piled them high. I had him hold and ask himself the joy question. I think it was so strange for him but in the end he got rid of so much stuff. We then folded in the Konmari method and to this day he's maintained it and still says wow when he sees inside the drawers. We still have to do his hanging closet and one more dresser but I'm not pushing my luck just yet. Haha.

My mother was addicted to "cute". She had to have anything that was cute that crossed her path when shopping. I like cute but wow, when cute takes over your life it impedes growth lol. I have gone with what works in my house versus having to possess all of the cute things ever created. It is impossible to own every single thing in the universe that you find cute or whatever. That line of thinking helps me put the brakes on when shopping.
