Thank you, I watched this with out sound as my girl is sleeping. I just slowed the speed down and re-watched where ever I felt like I needed more help understanding. I think you did a great job. This is the first video of yours I have watched so I am looking forward to watching some more. My brother teaches harakeke weaving but he lives far away. He has made me a beautiful over the shoulder like satchel bag (my laptop fits in it) with a toggle and lining and my girl a we backpack that even has a pocket. i really respect your art and the time you put into it so thank you for time and sharing. I will make friends with my waaaay down the road neighbour with the flax - maybe do a trade for some baking lol I guess in level 2. Also you can't please everyone - so please yourself xoxoxoxo You're an MVP in my books.

Feels rushed. Not your usual caring self. Mostly out of shot too. Disappointed.

So sorry, I can't please everybody but that is exactly what I said in my description (it is a quick walkthrough) and I do apologize for the out of shot bit on the video... there are 2 other videos with this type of kono that are slow or step by step but from a different angle so no point in creating a third with the same steps hence the speed up - there is a reason for this and I choose to do it on purpose. I am sorry you disappointed but I am also not the only one who has a video for this precise item out there so I am sure and hopeful with the others (my two and the other peoples) you find it useful. My videos are free (and not paying tutorials like others) so they do come with a certain amount of things they lack - and trying to juggle the video machine, editing, making of the item and not saying a wrong word that may upset others is really hard sometimes. I thought I put it up anyway and some people might still find it useful in combination with the others that are already up there. Again apologies I did not live up to your expectations this time.

@@Flaxworx I thought the video was fine. :) I, for one, am NOT disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

If you know how to weave then you should be fine like she says none of her videos are tutorials rather they’re more of a refresher for a weaver who may have forgotten how to do somthing or a weaver who wants to try somthing new 🤷♀️

@@Flaxworx Thanks for the reply. You didn't need to go to all that length reiterating what you said in the video. I fully understand that. I merely meant that knowing you from your other videos how careful and precise you are, and the pride you rightly have in that, it struck me as incongruous that you'd allow such a shoddy piece of video to be included. Perhaps you were wanting to showcase your new watermark. It was the clearest thing on the whole piece.
