for all those comments saying that the song on the koto will always sound better, remember that the piano is only played by one person while the original song was played by an ensemble with two bass kotos.

One more thing is that....each note can be made to sound for longer on a koto....with different volumes too....piano is binary(sound or no sound with one note)....but still this sounded great!!

@@sakuragi_hoshiyuki Haha, that's completely not true since piano has sustain pedals, which do just that, maintain the sound for longer. Also, you can keep the keys you want pressed for longer. The only difference is that piano has a different sound timbre compared to koto. And Tenkyuu is played by a whole ensemble. Of course on a single piano it would not sound so big. Don't use this video as your reference, since it's played by a software that just follows this sheet. A human player would be much better. Do not underestimate the piano!

It actually sounds even better once you play it in real life, cause you can also add on pedal at some places and so I learnt the piece and it sounds really nice.

以前出していただいた連弾用の楽譜をソロに書き直して練習していたのでほんとにありがたいです、、。たくさんのお筝で弾くのと一人でピアノで弾くのでは音の厚みに違いが出てきてしまうのは当たり前で、違和感があるのは仕方ないと思うのですが、それでも一人で弾きたいと思っていた私からしたら本当にありがたい楽譜です！

Ok! I have a question to all of you paino players. Is it possible to play this piece like this exactly? Like seriously? I just started playing piano im like at level - 100. Playing this piece would be like a dream come true, it feels impossible. Its soo intricate and extraordinary . I can barely have my right hand or co-ordinate with my left hand........is it really possible to play like that? I was looking at how my fingers would feel playing it... And imagining it seems crazy! Im amazed! So? Do let me know. Please!

If you think this is hard to play, just check out Liszt. I'm just like you too but I've been learning for two years. Co-ordination comes with practice. With practice and patience, everything is possible

It's an okay difficult. The speed is quite fast but the notes are actually simple. You just need to be able to play fast and at that certain tempo. Like some notes are like 9 notes in 2 beats or 5 in one beat.

一応物理的に1人で弾けるように調整しています。2:35からの左手のフレーズに代表されるような全音符はペダルでごまかせるので、実際には離して演奏することを想定しています。その他1オクターブを超える和音はアルペジオ(2:28など)や反対の手(3:54など)を用いて演奏できるようになっています。とはいってもこの譜面を弾くとなると結構な難度だと思います笑

Usually you look at the key signature- its in the key of G (has 1 sharp, F#) so you wouldnt need to put an accidental in front of it
