Konova K2 Slider and Mini Jib Sunrise MJ-906

Interesting movements can be done with a mini jib on a slider.
It needs some practice but at the end of the day you get some stunning footage.
Also interesting to see that, with a fluid video head you can not only move up and down, but also pan and tilt the camera.
The jib has a maximal load limit of 5kg / 11lbs . This includes the weights of the camera and the counterweights.
On the other hand the jib is leightweight and you can easily travel with it.
It comes with a bag and two weights. The build quality is fairly good, but it wiggles a bit nad you have to be careful when unscreweing the frictions screws.
Also I can not recommend to extend the arm to its limits. The counterweights that are needed to balance it could exceed the maximal load capacity.

Thank's.....yes it's simple but efficient. I always worried about having only one half or one third of the slider available, because the slider rail was seen on the footage. That solved some problems.

Some of the footage looks a little bouncy or jiggly. Is this from the jib, your setup, or your technique? The jib arms look like they're bending from the camera weight. Thanks.

Yes. It is both. My technique is mediocre and it needs a lot of practice to manage it properly. But also the jib wiggles a lot when it is extended. But on the other hand, it is a low price gadget, with has its strength and weak points.

Hi... the Kessler Pocket Jib is the best. It si more stable than the sunrise. But also much more expensive. The sunrise will work with the Mark3 nevertheless. store.kesslercrane.com/pocket-jib.html

Stefan Klinge wow yes it's very expansive ! So the sunrise is your second choice ? :) And when you have this kind of crane, the konova is still essential ? I have the impression that the sunrise offers a lot of possibilities and a independance compared to the Konova... !

For the price it is ok. But a more stable device would be better. So, Konova itself has a slider also. It seems a bit more stable.
