I keep coming back to this video over and over again. Whenever I feel like a little Warhammer, or just to listen to a story, it's always this. Curze has been my favourite Primarch pretty much from the beginning, and this is one of my favorite moments with him. It just humanizes him in a way that some of his brothers never really got. Something about him in this moment activates my "Momma Bear" instinct lol. He's like a frustrated child acting out. His whole life is a quiet tragedy from start to gruesome finish, and you've portrayed that really well. Blue, man, I don't know if you'll ever see this but if you do just know that, to me, you are the defacto voice of the Night Haunter. I like plenty of people's interpretations of his voice, but this one stands above the rest. Whenever he speaks in a book, in my mind he speaks in your voice. All in all, 100/10 video. Amazing work, man. Keep it up. You've quickly become one of my favorite online creators.

Yep. If only he hadn't been alone, if only there had been one compassionate soul who had found him when he landed on his homeworld; someone to guide and shape him into what he was always meant to be, so much could have been changed.

@@licensed_beheader True, but I meant a bit earlier on. Like how Leman had the king and his wolf mom, or Roboute had his foster parents. Even Angron had his adoptive father. Konrad was the only one utterly alone.

It's hard to see Konrad in a sympathetic light, but this really hit home, a broken son who only ever needed some guidance

Really good Konrad sounds, but when i read the passage, I imagine the emperor speaks with more sorrow and sincerity than anything. It humanized them both because and it contrast the surrounding scene so much more and give the solemness similar to a father saying goodbye to a son that overdosed on something and is on his last breath. Unless if you intended for the scene to represent Konrad's madness. Where he IS talking to himself (or rather the last shred of sanity) through the meat puppet disguised as Emperor. And this is supposed be Konrad emotionlessly judging himself. If that's the case, hot damn, awesome work.

Such a good scene, it shows how tragic Conrad was, how perhaps he could have been saved. Perhaps if the emperor spoke to curze and truly mentored him sooner and explained the truth of his powers he could have become something other than the twisted night haunter,

I just could not hear another voice for him. He had to sound snobby and that he thinks of himself as above anyone. So went with a deeper snape.

Man I wish that they just wrote the emperor as simple and not the bullshit that he doesn't want his son's to suffer when in reality, he wants them to kill each other, it is literally in his plans for half of them to turn against him, and the most dumbass thing is that he didn't included chaos into this of which is the enemy. Like why the hell man?! The entire heresy felt like grimderp, they should have just had him make every right and necessary decision only for all of it to go wrong. That angron would turn no matter what, curze would still be mad or some other shit, heck the khan would be a great addition to the traitors and switching of heretics to loyalists thing.

Listen to his Primarch novel, he speaks with a THICK Nostramen accent which is very Slavic sounding. That's genuinely the best interpretation of his voice I've ever heard, all his scenes were ear candy
