The free and open societies of the West are under threat - not from a foreign invader, but from illiberalism within. The retreat to offence-free safe spaces, the censorship from cancel culture, the ignorance of echo chambers, and the toxicity of identity politics are all symptoms of a siege on liberalism. Young people, in particular, hold increasingly illiberal views.
Konstantin Kisin is a British-Russian political commentator and comedian who co-hosts the TRIGGERnometry @triggerpod podcast. He is author of An Immigrant’s Love Letter to the West. While waiting for my gum to numb my dentist - she grew up behind the Iron Curtain in Romania - engaged me in some small talk and it eventually led to her saying Woke is operationally no different than Marxism. She said it's just been refocused from class to identity and it scares the heck out of her.

1 hour of one man asking questions and another giving obvious and common sense answers with a touch of humour. This wouldn't have been so mind blowing a concept 20 years ago and yet...today....

Konstantin is always a shining light in these crazy absurd woke times.

Deeply disturbing that this could have taken place in Canada with exactly the same questions and concerns.. how in the hell did they get all western countries into the same sinking ship… how fragile our civilization has proven to be!

One of the things I truly respect about Mr Kisin is that he has read enough serious books in his life to know the difference between the words 'home' and 'hone'.

There is a lot of sense here. Well articulated, confident, and insightful. This is what we need.

As I have said before, Constantine is way ahead of his years and has arrived at where I got to 10 years ago, in his thinking, but he at his young age has arrived where I was then, but much younger. I find this a fascinating thing that he is that mature in his logic and maturity. Can we listen to him and apply his advice? Most of what he says is very wise indeed. By the way I am 72 years of age.

Huge fan of Konstantin Kisin. He speaks truth and common sense because he has the perspective of someone who has escaped a dreadful dictatorship, and everything that comes with that, and is a person who really values what we have fought for over the centuries. He shows up the gutless politicians and hand wringing woke lefties that are sailing our once great country down the river.

The interviewer is wrong in stating that immigration has created in Australia the most successful "multicultural society" in the world. Konstantin straightens him out by speaking of "multiethnic" (as oppised to "multicultural") society as the past success of countries like Australia, the UK, and the United States. If mass illegal multicultural immigration is allowed to persist without insistence on the immigrants' adoption of the cultural values of the existing society's ideals of cultural assimilation, those countries will be subjected to societal chaos and destruction. That is happening in the US and UK before our very eyes.

He (the interviewer missed the point) Often big Corporations themselves have been taken over by radical theories. Its not about left and right anymore but rather about right and wrong, top versus bottom (as always) the elite v the rest.
