The sounds in this video after 7:53 are from the Kontakt library which comes with Kontakt 7.

I bought kontakt 7 and I downloaded the kontakt factory library 2 but I get this error when I try to open a instrument : This instrument belongs to a library that is currently not installed" can anybody help?

This is more than an update, it's a complete rework almost. Looks great. I will be getting KK Collector pretty soon, once all is made M1 compatible. Thanks for the video.

The collector’s edition is amazing! I’m running a M1 Max Mac and I haven’t had issues yet, outside of Maschine but it seems to work fine now. 🤞🏽

Hey man, great video, quick question... I noticed in the beginning when you are in the new style view, your Mallet Flux doesnt have the graphic but just a generic folder icon. I have quite a few showing up in this new mode that are fine in the old mode where the library pics are on the side. Do you have a fix for that? Bugs the crap out of me. Typically I always used the Quickload because the side library view wasnt efficient enough for me, but I like this new view. Just want to fix that annoying blank folder icon on some of the libraries.

Recentemente ho caricato Kontant factory library 2. ho notato che ci sono alcuni suoni, soprattutto quelli di voci e cori che suonati a una nota o più note il suono suona in contunuum e se aggiungo note si sommano sempre in continuum alle precedenti. Però così sono poco utilizzabili. è normale? come posso settarli come suono normale senza questo sustain infinito? Grazie, Luigi

Hi, I know you probably won't see this, but because getting in touch with Kontakt is next to impossible, I was just wondering if you'd be able to help with a problem I've been having with Playbox. Every time I open it, it just comes up with a piano, but I actually want to open the VST interface like how every other KZbinr seems to be able to do. I've noticed that in other VST's like Hybrid Keys, there's an option to choose between the piano or the interface, but I can't seem to find it in Playbox.

Depends on your needs, I’d always say Ultimate. But if you have the budget, go with the collector’s edition.

Great overview, thanks. I have to say I'm very disappointed that even though you can resize the browser window, you can't increase the text size (I haven't been able to find how anyway). Text looks just as small as the older version on my 27" iMac unless I switch to a non native resolution.

kontakt 7 seems like similar to komplete kontrol UI....thats cool......this should eliminnate kontrol software and kontakt 7 should be natively supported with kontrol keyboard than

The difference is Komplete Kontrol works with other NKS ready vsts, such as Nexus or Sublab. Also it has the chord & scale functions.

For those who use 4K monitors, KONTAKT-7 is an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. Darker than before, less readable than before. Still not scalable with super ancient raster technology, completely outdated and not suited for modern video cards and monitors. Interface looks like brought from Windows3.1 (or alike). While all software on the planet evolves, Native Instruments seem to be frozen in time. I tried to use all kind of tricks to be able to read the screen and still it seems like I need to use the Magnifying Glass. KONTAKT and KOMPLETE KONTROL is a total disaster. Whoever owns 4K monitor needs to go back in time and DOWNGRADE to 1024 px in order to read the screen clearly. When it comes to certain plugins running inside Kontakt-7 it becomes even worse because the greatest plugins (.i.e. from Spitfire) are completely unreadable and so super tiny that one needs a microscope to read it. Also endless problems with built in SQLite database make this product super obsolete and super hard to manage. People an NATIVE INSTRUMENTS really need to wake up from their dream of having plugins monopoly because sooner or later somebody will do what they resist to do.

Thanks for the video. BUT, whatever version of Kontakt you are displaying looks nothing like the version that they are selling as of November 2023. I am arguing with their "support" to get a refund. What they are selling right now is horrible and doesn't have the same UI or menu items. NATIVE SUCKS!!!
