Kookaburras are a wonderful bird I had a family where I lived in outer North West Sydney, each Morning they would tap on the kitchen windows for breakfast.😊❤

OH that’s possible ! When I was young, I touch a big earthworm but he escaped so quickly that I couldn’t see him exactly. I told the people around me (like I’ve touched an alien 😂 I was very young…) but no one wanted to believe me 🥹

Apart from earthworms, what do they eat? That beak looks like a sing of a highly predatory diet. Kinda reminds me of the "Martin Pescador" a fishing bird we have in my country.
