i had an old GrayNicholls, but along the way had a slazenger v100, broke the handle, then had a kookaburra ridgeback but broke the handle haha

Any ideas what a modern equivalent would be today? Had the chance to buy one when I was 18 but £200 on a bat to a student back then was crazy money. I’ve felt more in weight in tennis racquets, was so good. A proper wand. Regretted for many years after as could have it copied over & over when bat breaks. 😩🤦‍♂️

It’s not the only groved bat Kookaburra has released. Every 5 or so years they do something similar. Cadejo was one example Onyx another. Both released within the past 6-7 seasons.

Nice bat . Remember having one as my first adult size bat as a teenager. Think the was called Ridgeback 2000. Marc, Do you think it is so light because the quality of the willow or concave due to the "Ridgeback" feature? Any idea if these will ever go on the UK market ?
