Your reviews are one of the few decent sources of info on these bats. I couldnt resist temptation and bought a couple for lms. Not from the supplier here, but supposedly a mids reseller. By the handle they're clearly not genuine mids, but the performance of both is laughably over the top in every way. The tap up doesn't do them justice. Love your vids.

I used a bat called a St Peterbat. Bestbat I ever used. This was an English willow bat, but never got one of my own. Can you she some light on this bat and who made it? The I.D. marks were light blue and black. Next was an SS jumbo, similar style bat.

This is really interesting because i have bought my last 2 bats from this company and they have both gone like absolute guns. I have been to his workshop since i live in the same town. Good that you passed on that they dont offer this as a standard option. For a club cricketer they are excellent bats and excellent value.

Based on my personal experience a bat gets better overtime if you use it without scuff sheet because it allows the grains to open up. If you use scuff sheet right away it keeps the fibers on the surface intact and the scuff sheet holds the fibers tight not allowing it to spread. I personally feel that it’s a good idea to prepare it, use it against the old balls for sometimes, once you notice the grains start to open up then apply the scuff sheet. If you think about it, makes sense. Once again this is my personal experience. It’s always a joy to watch your videos. Keep it up.
