Agreed. I feel like people love SHINEE(just an example) JUST because theyre SHINEE. I can acknowlege their influence in the industry and the things they achieved in their era, but i dont like their music ether. The only song i like is view and one song isnt enough for me to follow a group. Its good to hear idols speak their mind about things where its only natural to have personal prefrences, but i do think he couldve worded it differently, not to sound so offensive. Its different to say "this isnt for me, i dont like them/this" and saying "this is shit" "why do you even make music like this". But overall, this wasnt something he shouldve leave the group for.

I started knowing BTS around 2014 and becoming an ARMY since then. From what I see, they have so much talent and their music back then is so fire. Up until 2020, all of these were hated for some things they apparently did. But since 2021, things start to get weird. We weren't even 100% sure of the mingyu school bullying because 1. There was no proof and 2. There were other similar rumours like this popping up every so often. ATBO also received hate for... What again? Something they, as just idols and nothing more, couldn't even do (choosing their name)? All I can call this is groundless

Stray Kids had to gone throug so much for merely existing and are still getting so much unreasonable hate but at least they came back stronger. I'm glad that now our fandom is strong enough to make up for all the bad things giving them the recognition they deserve. Our love is louder than others hate. In a way all the hardships helped them grow as an artists. Songs like Grow up, Scars, Secret Secret, Silent Cry, Lonely Street or LoveStay were born from all those negative emotions they experienced. I like to think that while it's unfair it was also necessary for them to grow and even the bad things can give us something beautiful.

I had no Idea it was Leo who went to Hongbin and told him to get out. That's kind of crazy. I know it doesn't seem like a severe enough instance for him to be kicked out but if Leo felt strongly enough to drive to his house and shut it down, it probably really upset and embarrassed the other members. If I had a group member who was behaving recklessly and jeopardizing the reputation of the group, I would probably respond the same way. We have to realize that sometimes these decisions are made internally and for no other reason than a member not getting on with the group. Even as someone who considered Hongbin my bias, I respect Leo for standing up for his beliefs and acting quickly.

The members have mentioned numerous times how they’ve been physically hit, threatened, and sexually assaulted by these “fans”. Who’s to say that the ones following them didn’t already do that and that’s why they acted the way they did. Heck, some of the sasaengs WANT that reaction, so that the idols will “remember them”. The Hongbin controversy made me leave EXO's fanbase and also made me despise SHINee, all thanks to the toxic fans of theirs on Twitter ( I know, I know). I even recieved death threats from Shawols when I tried to warn them about their comments. I basically told them that if they continued to continue this behavior of theirs, I would be terrified if Hongbin ended up like Jonghyun (as in, s**cide). It was a warning I gave, but Shawols sent an incredible amount of death threats (don't think I deserved that, because I never did) I truly love VIXX and the hate literally all K-Pop fans sent to the other five members was just out of this world. It was only Hongbin causing this, yet fans decided to go after the other members too. Yes, Hongbin ruined his own career. Were Jaejoong and Yoochun being attacked by those girls? I have tried looking it up but can't seem to find anything about that.
