If it’s brought up to hip hop heads true hip hop heads will have to acknowledge G-Rap this at the time was a banger the East needed. East Coast emcees didn’t really make a lot of noise about the harsh realities of the neighborhoods the way west coast rappers did. I believe without Kool G-Rap you don’t get a Nas, Big, or Jay-Z without him.

He goes way back in the day and there were some multi-syllable rhyming but not really recognized. The Foundation started off looking at Koo G Rap though. He is one of the Masters of Hip Hop no doubt.

I would often see Kool G Rap and Polo driving down Northern Boulevard in corona Queens in a custom made blue Mercedes Benz in the late 90's. All the drug dealers admired them and wanted the material success that they had. The great music that they made was so prolific and profound.
