The idea of letting BDK close it out was genius. At the time Kane was ridiculously large and letting people like Masta Ace launch the missile was very necessary. I remember not knowing who he was prior to this, nor Craig G, but both of them did phenomenally. G Rap and Kane as the big brothers letting shorties rhyme 1st and 2nd adds grace and class to this distinctive Hip-Hop classic.

Big Daddy Kane and Rakim imo are both the GOAT of hip-hop. "Aint no half Steppin" was something human ears had no concept of how dope words could sound put together. Somehow BDK was able to pull off a light hearted yet incredibly ominous instrumental - something human ears on June 21st 1988 could not get enough of; allowing him to STILL be the only hip-hop artist to sell out the World Famous Apollo Theater - not once - but TWICE to an all female audience. No rapper has even done it once. He also did the Madona "SEX BOOK" photo shoot with Naomi Campbell. Kane THE MAN in the late 80's and 90's when the golden age took off. He was literally rap's Mick Jagger. KANE is the GOAT of Hip-hop imo. "Women want him and men wanted to be him" Big Daddy Kane - King Asiatic Nobodies Equal is the GOAT. Kane was this master lyricist, battle rapper, as well as showman who could DANCE. He was the ENTIRE PACKAGE. Big Daddy Kane was Biggie Smalls, Big L, AND Jay Z's idol/influence; while Rakim was Tupac, Nas, and Eminem's. Nuff said: Kane and Rakim both the GOAT.

Big Daddy Kane was the best on this rap medley. Kane was like the anchor leg on the U.S. men's 4×100 meter relay in the Olympics. Always save the best for last. Kane rapped with a lot of conviction and meaning. Kool G Rap and Masta Ace are dope as well. Kool G Rap is a legend. Craig G is dope as well.

The Juice Crew put us 1988/89/90 rap fans on notice with this jam and video: "Posse Cuts. New Thing. Listen. Learn. Love it. Many will attempt to do this, to be this good, to be the "Next Symphony". We're like that comic book The Avengers. But real. In time, they'll make a movie about that book. And your kids will feel about IT the way you feel about THIS whenever it plays FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE."
