I'm not glamorizing the game but GOT DAMN IT!!! The way this cat masterfully describes the luxury filled lifestyle in way I never heard it before and never will hear it like this again. I had to go to rap genius to be clear on what the fuck I was hearing, was exactly that. I'd suggest ya'll do the same. This shit is Shakespeare at its finest. The video, though dated, offers a discription of the highs and lows (the remorse) of NAFTA which has impacted so many. G has been terrifyingly lyrical from the first time I heard him on some, "Road to the Riches" and of course, "On the Run", type ish. Whoever, put those tracks together must have also created Frankenstein, I'm convinced. It's 2022 and this song is one of my go to's when I'm riding through ANY hood. I've been playing this joint in HEAVY rotation since the 4,5,6 album dropped in '96. Nas is G reincarnated but today I'd say Benny the Butcher wears the crown of G. He talks that shit like G. Almost like he was schooled by the legend, first hand. NO ONE describes the game like this. The closest to it for me is Jay Z's "FALLEN". Not up for debate.
