My first tool truck experience was with Mac. I bought a 30” breaker bar, 3” 1/2 drive chrome extension, and 16” ball peen hammer. Mac guy gave me a couple of hats. I thought I hit the lottery. Super nice guy.

I've shot plenty of 9mms but the only time I've ever used a 9mm socket is like Hamilton said, a 10 was rounded off and I beat a 9 on it to get it out

I just used one the other day. Fords have very strange socket sizes at times. This particular situation was on a f150 extended cab, the little vent window frame uses eight 9mm nuts all the way around.

This week did suck, worked on a 2012 Autocar Xpeditor Trash truck. Needed a rear main seal, started tearing apart Monday, got the trans out yesterday took 4 days to remove an allison transmission. Rear main seal was easy at least.

Ive used a 5/8 12 point 3/4 inch drive socket on a shear head at my work, 4 bolts that hold one of the knifes on it are 12 point with a 5/8 head.

I worked for a large auto recycler and forgot my almost new 3/8 Snap-on impact in a car that was placed in the crusher before I realized it was missing. We had to cut the car open, but the impact survived with a twisted handle. Made me sick to my stomach 😫

A few years ago I watched helplessly from across a field (albeit arms waving and screaming as loud as I could) as my brother-in-law dropped a loader bucket on a brand new Stihl 025 chainsaw. Stihl replaced the plastic and frame and only charged for the parts and labor. Nobody works like Stihl though

I do like the 3/8 electric ratchets I've got them in matco as well but the 3/8 slim impact ain't got nothing on my matco 3/8 stubby she's four years old but she still gets it done I used my snap on 3/8 impact today to do some light semi trailer work and it didn't seem long before you heard it be maxed out struggle to tighten bolts and loosen them my matco one will break them if you ain't familiar with it

I have that same snap on 1/2in rachet, the best rachet on earth, mine is still undefeated it broke loose 1 1/4 u-bolt nuts on a Pete, rachet was damn near bent 90° and came back to strait.

Only reason I bought a ez red 3/4 extendo ratchet was because I watched Stephen Cox use it on a hydraulic cylinder rod nut On a grader 2+" socket , used his service crane too break it lose with the ratchet fully extended and it didn't break any teeth or nothing. Looked for the video but I think he deleted it when all that de monitization was going on or still is

Clay clean the CV boot off good with brake cleaner and take some super glue and add a pinch baking soda to it and mix it up and cover the pin hole on the boot And then put a touch of 2 part epoxy or Hot glue over that to help hold and seal the super glue and it'll last for a while that way

I was given a Snap On hat with a purchase once.I have zero regrets when I bought my 3/8 short brute ratchet,fits my left hand perfectly besides the button trigger and selector.I do wipe it off with tub o' towels when not in use.Had my appendix taken out when I was 13,cyst taken out in my lower back twice,vein stripping due cellulitus.Do have to watch big time with my dad's side of the family,heart problem history.

I can understand high prices on heavy equipment. Anything that says CAT, you can take and say it’ll be 5x what any other manufacturer would ask for. Our 345b CAT excavators are a pain when they have any issues.

I broke my snap on 3/4 rachet on a jd 644h loader hydraulic cylinder i was supposed too rebuild it out in the feild i didnt check my torch tanks i had no acetelyn used my crane too pull the rachet and snap packed my shit and left my snap on guy was not happy gave me a hard time didnt want too rebuild it for me i contacted snap on talked too a few ppl and at the end they sent me a brand new one sent the broken one in the box back they said keep the new one

The Milwaukee is stronger. We proved that in our impact test videos on each of them. The 14.4 is much slimmer to get in tighter spots and the rocker trigger is nice on rusty bolts because you can go back and forth with them

On the topic of broken products, i can say the brushless polisher/prep tool is a huge improvement from the brushed model and i run it hard. Thanks!

Snap on has a tube that comes in the rebuild kits with them clear tube no name. Try superlube if you want to use something good

Damn Clay! I've been in two branches of the military, been to combat multiple times, I've broken almost every bone in my body, and kidney stones are the absolute worst! I've passed enough kidney stones to pave a highway. I've had two that a surgeon had to take out! I've been shot, and I've had kidney stones. Yep. Had this happen on a jeep I was working on. It had one caliper that was aftermarket and my 8 was too small, I grabbed the 10 and it was too big. I thought noooo, it can't be... But it was. 9mm.😂

Don’t buy those boot tools. They’re dangerous. Just separate the axle on one side and buy a boot kit from moose racing. Clean repack and reassemble put back on sxs you will hate that boot tool trust me
