Hover shoes is / are / were the rage. These are Koowheels, and they sent them over A LONG TIME AGO to see what we thought. Evan & Katelyn were in town, so they, along with Punished Props Academy, my editor Sean, and my son David, show us hot NOT to ride them, and how to effortlessly ride them. Ha!

So... Yes, this was recorded a while ago, with the footage of Evan & Kately and Punished Props happening easily more than a year ago - July of 2018! Good to know I'm reaching WAY back into the catalog for this. Ha! Also, in studio, yes I had a stuffy nose, and wasn't feeling 100%, and I'm sorry. // Joel

You could modify these for a powered wheel barrow. Great video. Keep up the good work.

Man those look so fun, but I'm not balanced on two feet. I couldn't imagine trying to balance on those.

You simply have to think of your ankles as the pivot mechanism. If you look at the video of your son, his body is on a straight angle and he's using his ankles to "drive" essentially.

Death shoes. Love it. Maybe it has to do with kids being shorter so it may make it easier to balance. Who knows. thanks for sharing.

What I'm curious about is what would happen if you attach a board to just one of those and make it into a mini one wheel would it work.

I think it’s easy for kids because they have weigh less and have a lower center of gravity, so the koowheels have less work to maintain balance.

How expensive is the visit to the ER for the eventual broken arm?
@RonFloyd
@RonFloyd 4 жыл бұрын
Like Wayne said - kids haven't lived long enough to know fear. Plus a lower center of gravity usually. LOL But, curious - what if you squatted? Harder to turn, but a way lower center of gravity. Plus, just for fun, how about three of them with some sort of frame? Sounds like a good 3D Printing plus tubing project - HaHaHa! Edit: Or, just two of them with just a free-spinning castor on the back. ;-) Thanks guys!

Two of them parallel tied to a board with a hinge so you can still steer and go front and back and an idle wheel in the back .

Hi Joel Ok these look like a visit to the ER room waiting to happen Before I saw your son on them I was thinking that a shorter person with a lower center of gravity would do better and it appears so. You said that you thought a skier might do better on these than a snow boarder so how about mounting a snow board deck type of thing on one of these and you have one of the single wheel self balancing kind of visits to the ER room any way cooooooooo thing stay safe & a big High Five

charge times? battery life??
@TechnicallyNerdy
@TechnicallyNerdy 4 жыл бұрын
Charge time wasn't fast or slow. I would plug them in at night, and they would be fully charged in the morning. The batteries lasted longer than I did on these things, however, my kids would be on them for what seemed like hours before needing a charge //Joel

Great for kids but still expensive at that price. A great leg and calf workout for adults but expensive at that price. Just make/purchase a motorized scooter if you want the tech, or purchase some rollerblades and you are good to go.

Very cool - but one of the two KZbin ads was a ~10 minute drug ad! KZbin needs to be more reasonable with their ad selection based on total length. I watch them, because I want you to get some $$ - but jeez!
