Kopa big tribute

I am very interested in Kopa and a few other unheard of characters from The Lion King, and I wonder why he was not in any of the movies. But I find Kopa from what I have seen that he is stronger then his dad and unsure of what he wants in his life. But since Kopa is becoming popular, I find that a good thing, All Hail Kopa the now heard prince of the Pridelands. and May he be remembered forever.

Quick fun fact: TLK movies and TLK books were written by different writers, thus no Kopa in the sequel. Also they changed their mind about Kiara having a brother when the sequel was in production.

well a nicer way to put Kopa's story could be that Zira chased him off in a similar manor to Scar and that he still lives, just that he's made his own pride

I am, however, intrigued by the idea of knowing more about the 6 new adventures and re-incorporating it so that Kopa and other characters and Kiara live in the same universe, but without the death. I realize that will be a big challenge, and it may take awhile, but I'm willing to try and make a plausible explanation for characters' absences in the 2nd movie without resorting to tragedy. Call me sappy, but I'd like to see a happier alternative, if possible.

here's my thoughts on Kopa Disney was originally going to have Simba and Nala's cub be a boy so they wrote TLK6NA but when they were writing the script for TLK2 they decided it would be better for Simba to have a daughter so they created Kiara and never mentioned Kopa thinking that most people wouldn't have read TLK6NA that's my thoughts

Well guess what? It already WAS confusing at the end of the first movie when there was the popluar argument that Kopa was Kiara and it was not the end of the world then. So if Kopa had been mentioned just as much as Mufasa and Scar that would prove he was killed by Zira but he was not. So he just left in my point of veiw. And yes the story with Scar is mentioned in the movie... Zira:Who has made us outsiders? Kovu:Simba. Zira:Who killed Scar? Kovu:Simba.

Yes but listen in Lion King 2 to how much Scar and Mufasa are mentioned yet you don't hear one mentioning of Kopa even once. That being the case if Kopa was killed by Zira we should hear him being mentioned just as much. So I just think he left.

it can't be Kiara the presentaion in TLK 1 is different than in TLK 2 or Kiara had 2 presentations but I don't believe in that ;p

In fact, Disney gave permission to the authors of those stories, but I, from what I understand, didn't really endorse them as stories in the official series. Unfortunately, the company's decisions aren't always based on what the fans would prefer. The way I see it, there are 2 different universes: 1 where Simba and Nala have a son, Kopa, and 1 where they have a daughter, Kiara. Simba is just protective. Besides, SImba has to lose a father and a son? I think that's a little too much

I have to say, I understand the death of Kopa ties in the books and the second movie, but there are some discrepancies, for me at least: If Zira killed Kopa, why would Simba allow Kiara to date her adopted son, Kovu? Why wouldn't Simba kill her right on the spot? If Kopa was the love of Vitani life, why would she stay so loyal to a mother that killed Kopa? Disney is a big corporation that don't always stay consistent with stories. They decided to go in a different direction than the books.

well at :27 the other cub is Tanabi but Tanabi is the other name of Kopa it's typical mistake for artist when they draw Tanabi and kopa together at :32 they are Boga and Babu but they are not offcial disney characters

Ok, so Simba and Nala had 2 cubs (Kopa and Kiara), in order to get revenge for killing scar Zira kill Kopa (because she though the Simba had killed Scar but Simba just pushed him off Pride Rock and he was killed by his own hyenas). Simba then exiled Zira and her cubs to the outlands. Is that why Simba is overprotective of Kiara?

I do not think Kopa was killed by Zira. Mufasa and Scar were killed right? So listen to how much they are mentioned in Lion King 2. Kopa is not mentioned once. So if he was killed by Zira there would be just as much talk about him in 2 as much as Mufasa and Scar if he's just as major. I just think he left to start his own pride.
